Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very chilling and smooth. You will not feel burdensome during your academics. There are external and internal assessment. There also mini projects that are given to the students. Exams are held semester wise.

Placement Experience

The Companies like UCO, OIL, which is the campus for recruitments. But they are no placements throughout the year you might get it and you might not. There are internships for the students with good stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is feasible. The fees for my course is 10000 rupees for one year. For 2 years it was 20000. There are also some charges for maintainence and Labs work and the fees for application form is also very low.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a lot of scholarships for students. There are about 5 scholarships and you can avail them if you are eligible. Some of them are only for Backward classes and SC/ST. The others are for students with good marks.

Campus Life

There are a lot of extra curricular activities. There are seminars, workshops and conferences being held in the campus all throughout the year. There are various clubs as well and there are competitions being held as well.

Admission

The first step towards getting admission is filling the application form online or offline. The admissions are both on the basis of entrance and merit depending on your course. For my course it was merit based and I got my name in the first merit list

The college has a very good faculty. All the processes are highly qualified and experienced and are always ready to help and guide the students. They are very supportive and interactive and share their experiences with the students to that they can learn from them

The hectic life

Likes

The drawing, construction the canteen the overall campus
The faculties the way of teaching and the labs
The activities conducted through out the year is much appreciated

Dislikes

The poor bus service failing to draop the studs after the college ends
The poor time management of teachers and them taking leave without giving heads up
The hectic project works given to us and meeting deadlines at limited time give

The the graduation fashion show they host for every passing batch of gpk is of the main reason for me joining this college and also encouraging the students or should I say training us to glbe gret entrepreneur in the coming future has been beneficial

Likes

St Joseph's College is a very friendly environment with no ragging in the college. Everyone is very friendly with each other
There are many activities which makes it fun and interesting for all the students and everyone can participate

Dislikes

For the introverts they seem to have a hard time when it comes to events and festivals as there aren't much room for them to stay alone
But overall I don't think there's anything that makes us dislike this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ever since I was a kid I was always interested in studying history. Infact it was my favourite thing to study. I took up this course because It's fun to study history. As an aspirant taking up history helps me to be more aware of the dates and names for the competitive exams. I think there are no improvements or changes to be made in this course as the lectures teaches so well. If you are taking history as your honors then I suggest you to study everyday and not wait for the last moment as this course is very vast and not easy for one night preparation

Better Review of my college

Likes

Campus is very good and all the class room are also good and comfortable and all the teachers are responsible for his own work
Placement are also good . And the placement coordinator are also help in the placement and the project
The ratio of boys and girl are little bit small but the ratio is 4/10 for boys and girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the curriculum activities are good and all the teachers are good in nature and always help me a lot when students facing the problem. All the staff members are good and help all the students. The timing of the exam or time duration in end sem is for three hours and the difficulty level is also good .

Placement Experience:

There was a very organised department which was solely engaged in the placement and related services for the members of different courses and the placement cell was knowledgeable. The university admission cell plays a significant role since the training and placement committee is responsible for all aspects of the placement process and also assists with it. The batch's top compensation package was over 12 LPA.

Admission:

The admission process in our university is based on merit list in the previous qualifying exam. There is no entrance examination for the students. We have to apply through the official website or through the study centres. There is relaxation of marks for SC, ST, OBC etc.

Remarks:

It's packed with the best faculty and also it's the nearest college from where I stay. It has an amazing environment and noise pollution free. It's easy to find transportation also. The college has a lot of extra curriculum activities and provides even counseling. I took up Sociology because I grew up believing I would become a social worker. The college has also produced a good number of toppers and is considered one amongst the most cleanest college in Kohima.

The most important story about me choosing this college was that it was a Catholic based institution and fortunately I happened to complete my secondary schooling days from the same Catholic institution itself. Besides this college, I have applied for any other colleges nor have I faced rejection. The admission process of our college was based on the percentage of marks obtained during the schooling days at 10th and 12th respectively. Students getting more than 60% and above was eligible for getting admitted to the college. Mainly the reason for choosing this university are, financially it is very convenient and Nagaland university is the only central university in our state so why go somewhere else.
