Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is simple and adaptable for students. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it makes it easier for students to understand and learn the concepts. The curriculum is semester based for all courses.

Placement Experience

The placements in our college is really great and improving day by day. There is a separate team for monitoring placements known as training and placement cell. Every year they try their best to invite most of the top companies in our college for placement

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible according to me. The fee structure for all the course in this college is approximately 1 lac for the entire course. Students can pay their fees in instalments for per year in this college.

Campus Life

Every year college fest is conducted in our college which is organised solely by the students of the college. There are various stalls for games, food, technical quizzes, etc. Overall it's really fun and enthusiastic.

Admission

You will need ti fill the form for this college online and appear for the exam conducted by the college every year. Depending on the marks obtained in class 10+2 and the exam result admissions are allotted in this college.

Faculty

Faculty in our college is good and very supportive. They explain the concepts very nicely which makes it easier for us to understand the concepts in a better way. Entire faculty is well educated and qualified.

A Life of the SFIT Student

Likes

Good college with fine placements , helpful faculty and clean campus/
Education quality is good and helps in co-curricular activity.
College is very discipline and career giudance as well in lectures.

Dislikes

Mandatory 75% attendance in every subject
Some faculty shows too much attitude to students
Does not offers real internships and makes us join whatsapp grp

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we becomw eligible for placements. TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, and oracle. Avg package was offered 3 lakhs rs. Highest packages was 24 lakhs. 40% eligible students get placed. I plan to work as backend developer.

The reality check

Likes

The college professors are very particular about attendence and they will always keep there eye on your attendance and according to them attending is very important.
The college infrastructure is very good and there is vast space for students to chill and study library is also very spacious.
The teachers are always eager to solve our doubts and interact with us , the want the more and more students should approach them ask there doubts and discuss the syllabus etc.

Dislikes

I didn't like that sometimes over priority is given to the attendance I think a student can study well at his or her own sometimes only regularly attending lectures can't make you score more self study is important
The college don't have big ground earlier there used to be a big ground but it has gone for the construction work so, we only has a turf and a small ground.
The approach towards the teaching should be changed slightly and more practical based learning should be included.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement start from seventh semester and from third semester only students are enrolled in TPO Training and Placement Organisation where they train students withe various technical skills to acquire a good job. Various famous companies visit our college. Highest pakacge is of eight lakh per annum by Nice solutions. Percentage of student getting place on campus is less. After degree I will do a job.

Come here to study , as nothing will distract you here

Likes

Location wise it is very good and located in the center of Mumbai city
Placement they provided is truly good and almost all students gets placed.
Infrastructure quality is tremendously good. Workshop , auditorium, laboratories, cad labs etc are good.

Dislikes

Teaching quality was average in my time.
Almost young staff was there hence inexperienced persons failed to provide us good quality knowledge.
No hostel facility for students coming from rest of Maharashtra.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There was no specific curriculum. Just a day was starting with lecture on inexperienced staff, ending with tired and depressed minds. Students didn't get any proper help from staffs in their projects which perhaps is very crucial part of engineering life

I liked my college campuses and canteen it was amazing there was very silent campus no on shouting or fight in my college
I liked my teacher and all faculty it teach very well and very polite all students
I liked all practical room it was very clean and neat and washroom also clean and all other college members also very polite with every student.

Dislikes

I don't like college timing in morning and afternoon after 5clock.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was information technology engineering mumbai University . My course was best i think because today world was run in technology and most things form information technology And I was ready to face world after this course. I only suggest that teaching methods was little improvement.

All the non teaching staffs are very polite towards the students
Colleges turf is very huge and good to play
The college conduct best events and fest

The colleges podium is very small rest all is good
College doesn't have a campus it's just have a small garden

Teachings methods of most of the faculties are best like they teach very nicely and are also polite at the same time . Even teachers have best strategies to make a development in students. The faculties overall are nice

Vasantdada Patil College of engineering Honest Review

Likes

The college is at 20 mins walking distance from my house
The college's has a good faculty and course
The college has three turfs for sports and games

Dislikes

The placement at Vasantdada Patil college of engineering is not great
Staff behaviour is also not too good as they are rude sometimes for no reason
The food in canteen is pathetic and overpriced

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of now..sem 1 was all about improving student's learning skill... mathematical and logical skills... C programming subject is the only main and important subject that is useful ahead while the other subjects like chemistry physics mechanics and basic electrical engineering BEE are to improve our thinking speed and logical thinking.

The campus is cleaned and very maintained.
Only two events are organised every year insight and technex

Dislikes

Since the campus is out of the city we have to travel like 11 km and its apart from the highway the road touching college to highway is very bad not constructed
The faculties can't speak English properly and don't know how to cooperate
The non teaching staff doesn't behave and top properly regarding any issue

Placement Experience:

Weld placement just say are 100% but the average packages of 3 lakhs . Over 700 students are in 4th year was giving interviews for placements but only 25 to 30 students are selected at very good company with a nice package and remaining our selected for like 5 to 4 lakh packages.

Area of campus is beautiful and good for study.
Activities like cultural elements and sports events are organised in college.

Dislikes

Hostel charging very high and imposing lots of terms and conditions on the students which is very difficult to follow
There is no good placement in college for students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student become eligible for campus placements. Student is eligible for internship programs from 5th semester. Capgemini, TCS ,Tata motors, Wipro and many more companies visited in college campus. The percentage of student getting placed by campus is quite low. After getting degree student student can go for masters.

Vidyalankar Polytechnic, The Best in Mumbai

I applied to literally every top Polytechnic colleges in Mumbai. I had a confirmed admiiin Kala Vidyamandir, Malad but it's a really really bad college and its in the middle of nowhere. I chose VP over all colleges as it is the best polytechnic college in Mumbai. It has unmatched amenities. Even SBMP, Vile Parle which is triple the fees has lesser amenities. I got rejected from other colleges due to less marks in 10th grade. Saraswati Polytechnic, Kharghar offered a donation seat but we are very against this. The admission process is quite easy. We have to apply to it through CAP rounds which is a centralised admission process by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. They also have a facilitation centre built in to guide you through the process and verify documents. They also have an institute quota based on merit for admission. The cutoff is 85% but I have seen students with about 75-80% too in the college....Read More
