Remarks

The college was an amazing place for me. I learnt so much in these 3 years of my course and gained so many skills overall. I made some great friends and found some excellent mentors in the faculty. I will forever cherish these years of my life.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was designed very effectively. The syllabus is curated in order to help the students prepare themselves for latest business and market trends and scenarios. The exams were at sufficient intervals and each day was not very hectic.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements was decent in our college. As we know there are no such placement cells for departments like B. Com hons. But companies visited our campus for recruitment. Job fairs were also organised by the college and skill development training was lalso done.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees was Rs 72,300 only. The fees was feasible for the three years course. There was a fixed amount at the beginning of every year and tution fees of Rs 1300 for every month. There was every facility given to us at this cost.

Campus Life

There was a student council in the college. It was responsible for all the events that were organised. There were clubs like cultural club, youth club etc. There was opportunity for students to engage in all kinds of activity.

Admission

I got admission on the basis of my 10+2 exam results. The qualification criteria was minimum 45% marks in 10+2 exams. Then a merit list was created for the selected students from the number of applicants based upon the seats available.

Faculty

4

The faculty was highly qualified and knowledgeable. They had years of teaching experience and were well trained. They were always ready to help us out and clear all our doubts. The student teacher ratio was also good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ever since I was a kid I was always interested in studying history. Infact it was my favourite thing to study. I took up this course because It's fun to study history. As an aspirant taking up history helps me to be more aware of the dates and names for the competitive exams. I think there are no improvements or changes to be made in this course as the lectures teaches so well. If you are taking history as your honors then I suggest you to study everyday and not wait for the last moment as this course is very vast and not easy for one night preparation

Placement Experience:

There was a very organised department which was solely engaged in the placement and related services for the members of different courses and the placement cell was knowledgeable. The university admission cell plays a significant role since the training and placement committee is responsible for all aspects of the placement process and also assists with it. The batch's top compensation package was over 12 LPA.

It's packed with the best faculty and also it's the nearest college from where I stay. It has an amazing environment and noise pollution free. It's easy to find transportation also. The college has a lot of extra curriculum activities and provides even counseling. I took up Sociology because I grew up believing I would become a social worker. The college has also produced a good number of toppers and is considered one amongst the most cleanest college in Kohima.
