Remarks

The education offered to us, the faulty, extra curricular events, inter-departmental competitions, support from the Head Of Department, management by the officials, examination everything had been perfect. and thus there isnt any bad remark for my college.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE. I scored 1200 state rank i was getting computer science engg in GNDU, but i opted for electronics and communication.

Course Curriculum Overview

The first four semesters include the core electronics and the next three include communication systems in advance. Major and Minor projects are also included, and the last semester is the intership training.

Internships Opportunities

Various companies including TCS, Capgemiini, Infogain, Red Lizard, Infosys, Tech Mahindra visited our campus and there was mass placement by each of these reputed MNC.Packages varied b/w 3 to 6lacs and stipend from 15 to 30k.

College Events

The most exuberantly celebrated fest of our college is JASHAN that is every year in january. It includes inter departmental competitions of dance, music, debate, extempore etc.other events include youth festivals that has inter-colleges competitions.also there are sports meet, and events like IRIS'15 etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its feasible, for engg sector its upto 1lac per year and for other departments its nt more tahn 80k per yearand is easily affordable by each person and his/her family.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many provisions for girls at campus, scholarships for students gettting cgp's more than 9 in a continuaton, also provisions for all the castes to avoid racism.

Campus Life

You mostly find punjabi's in GNDU, but there are also ppl from Delhi, Bihar, UP and person of each religion and region is accepted at out campus. Hostel parties have been amazing always.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the seniors have been supporting, helping all the time. They took proper interveiws to select ESF members and helped all the weaker students to succeed in the academics.

Exam Structure

There are 2minors and 1major examination at the end of each semester.the minors lessen burden on students and hepl in revision of subjects.

Faculty at my college is highly qualified, experienced and well trained.We were taught in an interesting way. Teachers are understanding and organise various events related to different electives to enhance learning.We have a student council, ESF(Electronics Student Forum) which is well supported by whole of the faculty

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
