Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good and their are projects, practicals conducted in every semester. Courses offered in this college are Polytechnic, BCS, etc. BCS is a 6 year year course and semester wise subjects are arranged.

Placement Experience

The placements in our college is satisfactory. The training and placement cell is really great in our college. This cell guides students from time to time about how to prepare for the aptitude tests and interview rounds of the company.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If facilities, infrastructure are taken into consideration then I believe that the fees of this college is really feasible. The approximate fees for the courses pursued in this college is 1 lac per year for most courses.

Campus Life

There is fest which is organised every year. In this fests several competitions are conducted which includes some technical ones, sports, games, etc. The extra-curricular activities are really encouraged a lot in this college.

IMDR Pune: A Good Choice for PGDM Aspirants

Likes

I liked the vibe carries right from the induction period.
Faculty is approachable and friendly, Teaching is practical based
Presentations help improve students in their communication skills

Placement Experience:

Since, I am currently pursuing my PGDM I have not yet experienced the placements offers by the college. However college gives better career opportunities to start with by offering good placements with minimum package for 600000

An Honest Review By a 2-nd Year Student

Likes

Supportive faculty, Good Infrastructure, Proper amenities like water and maintained washrooms in every floor.
Events and functions are held throughout the year.
The Girls to boys ratio is almost 1:1.5 in my course.

Dislikes

Almost 20% students join through management quota .They don't engage in any study related work they just come to college as a timepass.
Guards here have unnecessary attitude for students , the bouncers are very rude and don't even know how to behave.
The attendance criteria is overly strict and detains you if your attendance goes below 75%. below 50 percent u are not allowed to give exam of that subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some subjects are really relevant for real worth like i had IOT in 2nd sem which was very interesting . Some courses like Engineering physics didn't cover the broad aspect and just gave intro of topics like Quantum computing. For Non-Practical subjects the curriculum felt out of relevance.

A Good choice for engineering

I liked the college campus, infrastructure and the helpful nature of the faculty. Teachers explain concepts well and are supportive when students need guidance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Why I chose the course: The course has a good mix of theory, practical subjects, labs and technical skills, which influenced my decision. Real-world preparation: The curriculum gives basic industry knowledge and practical experience. It is also useful for higher studies. Improvements: More practical projects, industry visits, updated technology and hands-on training would make the course better. Teaching could be more practical and interactive. Exams: Internal exams are conducted during the semester and university exams at the end. The difficulty is moderate and manageable with regular study.

Campus placements are available for students generally during the final year of the MCA program. The college provides sessions for resume making, mock interviews and soft skills. The placement opportunities and packages vary each year depending on the companies visiting the campus and students performance. After completing my MCA, I plan to build and apply my technical skills by securing a job in the IT sector.

The real side

Likes

Fee structure, Non teaching staff behavior
No Minimum attendance, fest and activities
Cafetria was affordable, mess was also affordable

Dislikes

Mess food was horrible, hostel rooms are leaking, washrooms are of low quality, wifi network is too slow
No faculty is learnt enough to teach students, I mean to say that they are not even qualified in their own subjects.
Fine is taken for any mistake you do or not submit your work on time

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is old fashioned, these tools are not used in the current market, they teach us microprocessor 8085 and stuffs like computer ethics which i mean is not that important in todays industry. The curriculum fails to improve us in any aspect.

Likes

My overall experience in Bharati vidyapeeth’s college of engineering lavale pune is quite good and nice. It is good college to choose for graduation.
Teachers in the college are quite nice and helpful to students.
The faculty staff of the college is also good. They are very helpful.

Dislikes

I mostly dislike about the college mess facilities.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite nice. Students get Placement around 4 to 5 lac per annum every year. There are many companies that come to college for Placement are TCS, Wipro, etc. Students should have cgpa greater than 8.

Vidyalankar Polytechnic, The Best in Mumbai

I applied to literally every top Polytechnic colleges in Mumbai. I had a confirmed admiiin Kala Vidyamandir, Malad but it's a really really bad college and its in the middle of nowhere. I chose VP over all colleges as it is the best polytechnic college in Mumbai. It has unmatched amenities. Even SBMP, Vile Parle which is triple the fees has lesser amenities. I got rejected from other colleges due to less marks in 10th grade. Saraswati Polytechnic, Kharghar offered a donation seat but we are very against this. The admission process is quite easy. We have to apply to it through CAP rounds which is a centralised admission process by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. They also have a facilitation centre built in to guide you through the process and verify documents. They also have an institute quota based on merit for admission. The cutoff is 85% but I have seen students with about 75-80% too in the college....Read More
