Remarks

The college provided a great learning environment and offered lots of opportunities to innovate, inspire and aspire. It was an amazing college. The teachers and seniors were very friendly and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of my college was very good. The exams were well planned and executed in an efficient manner. The college gave well written study materials to the students to prepare for exams and get good grades.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college provided 100% placements to all the students. The college used to organize several internship programs, webinars and seminars for it's students. Companies like deloitte, kpmg, pwc, tata motors, Toyota, etc., used to visit our college to offer placements to the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college was organized and feasible. The total fee for B.arch was 1.14 lakh rupees per year. Scholarships were also provided to students excelling in academic performance. Relaxation was also provided to students of reserved category and with weak economical backgrounds.

Campus Life

The college had great extracurricular committees like NSS, sports, dancing, debating, singing, etc., which were formed with the motive of encouraging students to participate in extracurricular activities.

Admission

After completing my schooling education, I decided to opt B.arch for further studies and hence gave the entrance examination for admission in B.arch course. I qualified the cutoff set by vastu kala academy and finally got admission in the college.

The faculty of my college was well organized and structured. The teachers were all very good and helpful from the very first day of college. The teachers were very well experienced and educated. Regular assignments and internal assessments were also provided to the students.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting
