Entrance Preview

AIEEE 2011. I scored 136 marks and I opted for this college as it was among the top colleges of our country. I also heard rave reviews about this college from one of the seniors who was already studying there.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It was nice and very educative. First you will learn about all basic Engineering subjects before going into the detail of you particular stram from second year onwards. There is also an option of doing Open Electives so that you can do your final semester project as internship with a reputed organization.

Internships Opportunities

I was thrilled to bits when I got an Internship offer with IBM, India Software Development Labs (ISDL). I was offered 20, 000 per month as stipend for my 6 month Internship Project.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement and job opportunities are very high. Almost all the high-profile tech companies will come along with many startups. Amazon came with CTC of 15.86 lakhs per annum (LPA), Paypal with 14.86 LPA, SAP Labs 8.25 LPA, Microsoft GTSC with 9.86 LPA, VMWare with 7.5 LPA, etc.

College Events

4

There are technical, cultural as well as Sport fests. The cultural fest is named Kuruksastra, Technical Fest is known as Daksh and Sport Fest is known as Colosseum. Students from other colleges also participate in our cultural fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feasible if you compare it with fee structure of private colleges in North India. The semester fee was 40, 000 when I was studying there. So, I paid 3, 20, 000 over the course of 8 semesters as college fee. Also, hostel fee is very manageable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan Facilities are available and you can opt for that. College offer little financial rewards in case you have good CGPA. For Example: You will get 16, 000 if you are among the top 2% and 8, 000 if you are among 3-10%.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is great. There are cricket and football fields along with volleyball and basketball courts. There are also 2 tennis courts in the campus along with a badminton court. There is also a gym in the campus. labs are really nice. And there is a robotics and an embedded system club as well.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel Rooms are mostly 2, 3 or 4 sharing, However from 2nd year onwards, you can opt for single rooms. PG's are also available just outside the college campus in case you don't prefer to stay in hostel. However, mess food is not the greatest by any means.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful. Also, ragging is non-existent in the college. If you have contacts with senior, you can even ask for books and regarding the faculty experience. So, it's advantageous to keep in contact with the seniors.

Exam Structure

Final exams happen once every semester i.e once in 6 months. Meanwhile there will 3 Mid-Term Tests in each semester. But these will help you in studying regularly even before end-sem exams and you will not be be under immense pressure when end-sem exams arrive.

Faculty

3.5

They were nice and supportive. You can always go to them if you have any doubts. They will also encourage you and guide you in right direction if you have any innovative idea and you want to proceed further with it.

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming.
