Remarks

The overall experience and has been great and I have learned a lot in my whole college experience. I always wanted to pursue my B.com from a good college and Vimala College has provided me with a gracious opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus for the BACHELOR OF COMMERCE [B.COM] is drafted perfectly by the faculty members that help students to get knowledge regarding finance and accounting. Also, examinations are conducted in two assessment i.e. internals and externals.

Placement Experience

Placement Cell invited various companies on the campus every year to provide students with job opportunities who are willing to take it. Apart from that campus also recommend the various internship to students which help them to gain real-life experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Vimala College is a highly reputed and is known for providing good quality education to students with a very minimal fee that doesn't put any financial burden to the students. The total cost for the course amounts to Rs 54,000.

Campus Life

Vimala College provides its students with various facilities and various events are also organized to engage students with various activities. Apart from that campus consists of a sports complex, NSS, and NSC cell for students to perform various activities.

Admission

To seek admission to Vimala College you have to apply through the official website by filling the online prospectus with your marks in Class 12 through CBSE and HSE board. After that, if you are inducted on the merit list you have to visit campus and submit your documents.

Faculty

Faculty members of the Commerce Department are very helpful and highly knowledgeable. They help students in every way possible and try to clear their doubts. Apart from that guest lectures are also conducted which provide good learning to students.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The college ambiance is good and green campus and plastic free
Lot of plants are trees are situated in the campus

In my course the qualified teachers are not allowed
Very less programmes are available in the college,
The canteen is not well developed and ambiance is poor

Curriculum of my course is good it covers all about the subject and its give a good knowledge about the subject and the teaching method and the hours of a topics also good. But the syllabus is not good for the timely complition.

College has a good infrastructure with big ground for sports events. Our faculties are very supportive to our curriculum activities. But some other facilities we need . To improve their facilities they need more spaces.

A practical choice with quality education

Likes

Firstly i likes the campus its very beautiful and naturally buided
Second i love the central library of our college its amazing.
Third i like the infrastructure of our college its perfectly balanced.

Dislikes

I didn’t like the restroom of our college its good not perfect one.
Second I didn’t like the some classroom its very old model.
Third I didn’t like the bathroom structure its not good.

I would rate the course curriculam as moderatly relevent and fairly good .which is one of the main reason i choose this course . And i am very passionate about history teaching method and i want to become a history teacher these was the main reasons i choose the course.

The college campus is not that much big and it's fine for us. There is taking new building and the working is still processing.

The raging issue have in our college. And I don't really like that thing in our college.There may seniors get suspension because of it sometimes it's get serious that their parents will come. Its ok if the raging is for some fun and just asking but i
There is a thing that i don't like is that is the juniors can't participate in dance session for programs that occurring in our college. Only seniors are participating for it and also the dressing for some event are controlled by the Seniors. Buuutt
In college facilities there is not that much places for sitting during the intervals. That makes everyone bothered.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is available in private college therefore there must be fee. The admission fees for this course is 25000.and for those who take admission by management they want to give 50000.after that there is semester fees, which is 16000 for every semester.Our lab and tuition fees are including in this, exam fee we want to pay on the time of exam. In college competitive our course have a greater fee comparing to others. There is scholarship for the category's like SC, ST. Not know the exact amount of scholarship.

Likes

Better hygeine , clean and peaceful surronding for a student to study.
Extra curricular activities: like sports , arts , quiz competition , cme programs are held for better purpose

No proper campus for relaxation and extra time after college.
Building is under construction with workers most of the time.

I applied to colleges like MCC,Chennai ;Colleges under Kannur University, Kerala University etc. I selected this college as this is a women's college at first .Eventhough its an all girls institution, the exposure we get here is limitless . Here they foster self love and leadership qualities in every women . We become so free in communicating various taboo subjects . Once we leave this college after the course we are equipped with all life lessons sd qualities that we need in our lives. I Got rejections from colleges under Kannur university,I think its due to the board that I studied because, the universities considers government school students first and then privately owned CBSE school students next . My college is Autonomous and it has its own admission procedures .
