Remarks

Overall good, A good place to spend the most important phase of learning with a good amount of being enjoying the college life as well

No entrance, based on Grade 12 marks. As it is a deemed university and the education pattern is very good

Course Curriculum Overview

It was wide and covered all the required areas according to each semester. Ist year will be mixed where we learn all subjects and not particular to the group chosen From 2nd year, the subjects will be particular to the domain chosen and offers more practical experience.

Internships Opportunities

I have not experienced this internship in my college But people do take internship with or without stipend based on the domain they choose General stipend may start from Rs.3000/-

Placement Experience

Placement was awesome. In 2008, TCS was the first company to come and they have recruited around 300 people Next was Wipro which grabbed around 300 again Which was followed by Infosys, HP, Inautix, CTS, HCL and all major IT giantsCore companies for mechanical, ece also visited. The starting average package was around 3.5 lakhs per annum

Kuruksastra - cultural activity which usually is full of fun time for all real fun with music, dance, adzab and much more with special celebrities Tech Fest - Technical festival which deals with paper presentations, projects and all new areas in the technology from various colleges around

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is little expensive, Per sem Rs.25000/- (Twenty five thousand) was the fees Other than that we will have bus fee, exam fee. No other charges were paid other than this.

Have heard friends taken Educational loan provided by Nationalized bank. As it is a college with high reputation, getting a loan would not be a problem

Overall it is so good. We had the freedom of college lifeFriendly staffs Good communication. They allowed us to enjoy the college life with good amount of learning required

It was descent. Mostly sharing rooms, single rooms were available in less numbers food is overall good and good variety of food is servedfor lunch we can come to hostel back and eat

We have groups on FB/social media through which we connect and its going on good. Almost everybody in my batch or my seniors have got placed earlier and everybody is well settled in their life with a good career

Exam structure is chill3 mid exams before the actual semthe 2 best scores from these mid exams will be taken as a part of the final sem score

Really good, Can gain more practical knowledge. More of discussions on topic helps learning more Computer languages classes are a must mention that will cover all the basics.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges.
