Reviewed on Jun 19, 2020

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus for Interior Designing is drafted perfectly by the faculty members which will provide students with Integrated Industrial Experience with various concepts about Interior Designing. Apart from that practicals and viva are also conducted regularly.

Placement Experience

INIFD provides its students with various job and placements opportunities by inviting various companies in the annual placement events. Even though many students prefer to go for higher studies after diploma college still provides placements to students who need it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for Diploma costs around Rs 1 lakhs for a 1-year course. This fee is moderate compared with the other institute and I can afford this amount without any hindrance. Apart from that financial aid are also available for students.

Campus Life

INIFD has a beautiful campus with various facilities that students can avail of without any hindrance. Also, there are various clubs and societies which regularly organizes various events in which students have to participate and learn from them.

Admission

To seek admission in the college you have to apply through the official website and fill the admission prospectus with your Class 12 exam. After that, if you are selected in the merit list and then have to visit the campus and submit your documents.

Faculty

The faculty of my college is very educated and highly knowledgeable. Generally, teachers teach in a very conceptual and practical way which helps us to understand the concepts better. Apart fro that various mentor sessions are held where celebrities such as Raveena Tandon and Twinkle Khanna participates.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.

College Life

This college had a strong reputation in the field of Fashion . The program were well established and had great outcomes for graduates. The college's accreditation gave me confidence that my degree would be recognised and respected globally. Other colleges I considered had good programs too but this college stood out because of its alumni network and industry connections which seemed to offer better post graduation prospects . Also the location of this college was a big plus for me. It's in a city with strong industry presence which would make internships and job placements easier to access. The admission process at this college was straightforward and transparent, typically involving Application form, Standardised tests, essays and personal statement, recommendation letters, interview and final decision...Read More
