Remarks

Mumbai university is one of the well known university in India and the college I got through cap rounds,it is a good college but it didn't fulfilled my expectations. As of it was a neceesity to take admission somewhere in some good college,I took admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus was completely change when I was in F.Y.the syllabus was quite good upto some extent. Our college has enough equipments so some knowledge about industry I have but till date I haven't gone for any industrial visits or anything.Talking about academics its quite good also some of the faculties are good rather they are quite awesome but some are quite bad also.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 113000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

Currently I'm in S.Y. now and till date we have not taken to any company/Industrial visit. The placement cell is not that good but its average.

College Events

0.5

Campus life is really awesome but our college is quite strict they don't allow to play for a while, they give alot of studies like hell, whereas extracurricular activities are quite good they are worth it.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is quite good they have good laboratories, good equipment facilities, quite big classrooms but they don't have any wi-fi available, library is quite big and it contains good amount of books its quite big.

College campus is the most beautiful thing and is favorite among the students
College culture, the amount of events and extra curriculars offered are unbeatable.
The learning facilities are top notch, from labs to classrooms everything is great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have completed degree in Computer science with Al and analytics as specialization, considering that the course is very relevant and industry specific, there are often industry visits and mentor sessions to learn real time. The exams are conducted thrice every semester two exams are of 20 marks each and final is of 60 marks, the diffculty level is easy to moderate and it also varies student to student.

The college has excellent infrastructure and management.
Teachers are a hit or miss. There’s mostly rookie teachers for the first years but as you select your specialization, you’ll only be dealing with a specific set of teachers. Some of them are extremely experienced and some are okay-okay.
The college has excellent industry connections. There’s no better place to network as a student in Mumbai. They have people visiting from all over the world and master classes and talks occurring every now and then.

Dislikes

They’ve increased their intake of students massively. The campus is becoming way too crowded for so many people. They’ve expanded campus into some floors in the hostel which is right across the street.
Everything in the college is slowly getting more and more expensive. They charge large unnecessary fines for things like not bringing your hall ticket or a new ID card or for exam rechecking.
Canteen is wayy too expensive for students like us

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are very good and they have people coming from a diverse range of companies. I am a second year student so I don't know about the exact packages. I plan to identify my strengths by 4th year and get a job in that sector.

The classrooms are okay

Dislikes

Faculty, their attitude, the impact they put on kids

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I don't think it's all that great. The faculties don't care enough. They don't provide quality education and have no helping nature. The exams were kept online after the covid-19 conclusion because they have taken some code-tantra subscriptions. They compromise the quality of education for their benefit and aim at earning money.

Learning opportunity at every step

The college was situated near to my locality nullifying the extra travel & the college was known for its 'Discipline' factor which convinced me to opt for SVBCP. I had interacted with few alumni of the college and they proved themselves as an asset and explained how their B. Pharmacy courses from SVBCP helped them to secure a great future in a competitive world. Apart from discipline, Co-curricular activities mentioned on their site which actually takes place in the college with convenience, placements reports & various committees presence made me realize the opportunities I'll get here to grow & learn. The admission process was much simplified & the teachers helped at every step in every way possible during the process....Read More
