Remarks

Good labs and teaching facility. Is near to my hometown. I don't know about the dates but for admission you have to take your confirmed admission form, go to the college, submit it, fill their forms and pay the fees and you are admitted. I got a nit somewhere in the northeast and it was not feasible for me to go there so I went for the second option that was available for me. I used college duniya and some other website, I don't remember its name.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I love biology but I have try hemophobia and I faint after watching blood so I couldn't opt for becoming a doctor. I want to do research in quite a few subjects and all those subjects are taught in Biotechnology, so it was a win win situation for me. The student faculty ratio is around 40:1. All teachers have done Masters and a few have done PhD. Almost all teachers are good at teaching. Term exams are conducted on time according to the date provided and they are easy if you study regularly well in advance.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships are compulsory for second year onwards. They are made so that students gain experience of working in their field. Again I don't have much informing it as I just entered second year and I am stuck at my home due to the pandemic.

Placement Experience

4

From fourth year students go for campus placements. Quite a lot of companies come to the campus for recruiting students. I don't have much information about this thing because I am going to do Masters after my bachelors.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is quite high for general students and it lowers according to the category The student belongs to. The fees of OBC is almost half of that of general. Scholarships and financial assistance is available only for people with very low income. On campus jobs are not available.

Campus Life

4.5

Annual fest and tech fest both are conducted on the month of January and both of them are quite lit. They are organized and arranged by the students for the students. The whole campus changes its colors during the fest. Everyone is really happy, motivated and full of joy during the fest. The name of the gets is Sinhgad Karandak. The class rooms are equipped with projectors and all the other facilities that are present in a normal classroom. A huge array of sports is available. You can also be a part of the music, dance or art teams and also technical teams.

Hostel Facilities

3

A bed, cupboard and huge open cupboard is provided to each student. The electricity and water supply is constant and rarely goes out. The meals are decent but the variety offered is vast and awesome. Just go the hostel you want to stay in, fill a few forms, pay the fees and you can start living there. The hostels (girls) are on campus and really near the college buildings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
