Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course is vast and also focuses on the practicality of the course more than anything. They have a rigid pattern of examination too along with internals, class tests and assignments.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities of the college are extraordinary as every student stands a fair chance to get placed and work at a renowned firm. I am very much satisfied with the placement opportunities of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It costs ?23,900 for the complete three year, full time, on-campus course at Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute, Pune. This fee structure is affordable and at the same time inexpensive too.

Campus Life

There are several extracurricular activities organised by the college throughout the year. These activities are fun, light and whimsical in nature but at the same time provides a lot of learning opportunities to them.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumnis of the college are too good to be true. They are always there to help us and motivate us to do better in our lives. They are very successful in their lives and still take out time for us, this is indeed overwhelming.

Admission

I am currently pursuing Ph.D. in Linguistics from Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute, Pune. The admission procedure was simple and quick based on the merit of the student and also the administrative staff were really helpful.

The faculty of the college is really helpful and kind. They are invincible at what they do and take personal interest in the growth and development of every student. They are also renowned because of the fact that they contributed immensely towards this field.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

Placement Experience:

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.
