IMS has a reputation for providing great placements, companies arrive with some tempting job offers for students. By the end of the 4th-trimester placement, drives get a start and students get ample opportunities to sit in the interview placement. Despite the slow economy last year, a total of 131 companies have arrived in placement drives. Some of the prominent recruiters from last year's batch are Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Federal Bank, ITC, WIPRO, ICICI group, Berger Paints, S&P Global Market Intelligence, etc. The highest international package last year was around 16 LPA and the highest domestic salary offered was 12 LPA while the average package was 6 LPA.
Yes the classroom don't have AC which I thought is not good after charging so much from student.
IMS conducts schooler cum entrance exam for every stream. Then they take a casual interview and finally they offer discounts in your annual fees if you perform well in entrance exam. I got admission just by giving small interview because I took admission late. The only factor was distance from my house and it's placement records that made me choose this institution. To take admission you need to go on their website imsnoida. com and click on apply and submit your details. They will contact you soon.
College is best, teachers are best, something needs to be improved is to maintain regular classes which is arranged but actually they dont maintain.
For getting admission in the college, one has to apply online through the official website of the college. Good opportunities are provided by the college. It is good in job, internship. The college provided the opportunities for internship. In 2019-2020 batch amazon offered 31 LPA highest package to a student and avg package was 5.6 lakhs. Every student sat for an interview got placed so you can say college provides 100% placement on campus. I want to start a company of my own after getting a degree.
You need a graduation in any degree with 50% Marks (45% Marks for the SC/ST Candidates) Or Three years Managerial / Supervisory or Working Experience after completing Graduation in any Discipline from a recognized university. Marks obtained in MET, conducted by the University or CAT/XAT/CMAT will be give much preference.
Some of our seniors are placed in big companies either from on-campus interview or from off-campus interview. But what matters is that they upheld the name of this institution at the end. Around 65% students end up getting placed every year.
College is very good to get admission.college promises for the all round development of the students.
The college doesn't publish any list of placements but only the list of recruiters which is huge in number and size too including Shardul Amarchand, Astreal legal, Madaan and Madaan's co. and many more. Most of the students het PPOs in their 7th,8th or 9th semester form the places where they are interning therefore leaving very less scope for on-campus placements but them also there are campus placements.
The course curriculum is very unique here. You have two sets of subjects - internal and external and further two sets of subjects in external that is law-related and ba/BBA related. the course curriculum is such that students when the pass is ready to face the challenges of the industry and included subjects like legal reasoning and interpretation of laws for deep learning.
Good 1. The infrastructure and green campus, 2. Well equipped library. 3. Good hostel facility and awesome LAN. 4. Good cultural atmosphere. Bad 1. Faculty not very enthusiastic. 2. Less practical knowledge. 3. No robotics lab and lacks some other labs to. 4. Placements average not very great. In conclusion I would if you can get into good colleges like IIT and NIT and have enough money to go to Manipal Bangalore than GBU is not for you, but if things are not working very great at the moment and you need a good government college where you can study on your own and is near companies in the NCR than GBU is for you.
Balancing all the pros and cons, the overall experience was different and enriching for me. I appreciate it more now especially the skills I learnt there have made me a more adjustable person. Ragging is something that should stop, but then again insolence towards seniors should not be tolerated either.
