Remarks

It is the only college in India providing a platform for craft studies and diagnosis. The college is very much recommended. I did Textiles diploma and it was a huge learning experience for me plus the trips and on field experiences made me understand crafts better and also a better person in some ways.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course provides hands-on experience, Industrial, NGO, Craft cluster exposure, Field experience and Project. The curriculum is designed strategically focusing on the basics first and later on advance techniques. Classroom design projects give us a broader way of thinking and implementing things and designing things accordingly to the need and nature.

Placement Experience

Institute make them self-sufficient to find a void and fill it from their ability. 100% of students are placed. Salary package ranges from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month. We choose companies and apply according to our choice, but the college provides the list of companies.

College Events

Every festival is celebrated here with great zeal and that is the best thing to learn, unitedness among religion and culture. Our college also conducts events and conferences every year regarding crafts and design. Each and every student get involved in all activities. The students and faculty members decorate the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the four year program is INR 8.88 Lakh which is expensive. But the university provides all kinds of resources to fill the void. Students are awarded Certificate in Foundation Program for Design(CFPD) in the first year itself.

Campus Life

IICD has fully equipped workshops and studios where students are encouraged to develop concepts and experiment with different materials, processes and techniques. They realize their ideas, make models and prototypes and learn with a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Admission

I would highly recommend this college to everybody who is an art and craft lover and loves to live traditionally in modern times. I got admission based on IICD entrance exam where I scored well and was able to come 8th on the merit list.

Faculty

I was fortunate enough to get experienced faculties for specific subjects. Most of them were from NID. IICD has got links with social organizations/NGO and export houses for their students to go on and experience the practical world. Noted academicians and experts have been associated with IICD for guest lectures, workshops, jury and curriculum development.

My Happy Place!

Likes

There are all kinds of clubs possible for extracurricular.
The teachers and staff are supportive at all times.
Canteen food is both tasty and hygienic.

Dislikes

No one apart from sports students are allowed to use the sports equipment. We have to carry and bring our own balls and everything in that case.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always had interest in Chemistry and the science behind the bonds. It has always fascinated me. The curriculum is very much similar to what we prepare for the competitive exams like NET or GATE, just the exam pattern is different. We mostly study for subjective university exam. The frequency and timing of exams is perfect, just how it should be. The difficulty level is moderate too.

I like the personal mentorship for every student

i like the environment of the college and practical work

i dont like the class timings and length
i dont like the prayer system at morning
i dont like college timing and regularly wearing college dress

in semester 6th the student is eligible for campus placements one of the company is techo tech highest pacakge of my college is 72 lacs per annum and average package is 4 lacs per annum there is 100% placement rate

Course Curriculum Overview:

University of engineering and management jaipur is very good for faculty bahavior but it is not good for campus facilities and other facilities. Uem jaipur is not supported for students a event organised.

Honest and Truthful

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty team.
Well maintained campus with good labs, classrooms and internet connectivity.
Placement team puts efforts and many students get placed in reputed companies.

Dislikes

Cafeteria options and food quality can defineiely be improved.
Hostel infrastructure lacks proper maintenance and hygeine.
Limited exposure to hands in industry projects.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from fourth year. Most companies come for software development, data scientist, ai ml roles. The major recruiters are google, microsoft, deshaw, goldman sachs, flipkart,deloitte, hashedin, samsung. The highest package was 45 lakhs and average was around 13 lakhs.

College offers excellent environment to students in study and in other academic activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose to do B.sc. because this course focus on specific scientific disciplines. It offers in-depth knowledge and skills to the overall quality of the fundamental principles and theories in physics chemistry maths subjects. The college has best faculty memembers and teaching system. All teachers have good qualifications, communication skill and teaching experience. And teachers provide clear explanations, engage students in active learning and offer guidance and support throughout the academic journey. Exam in B.sc. course in physics chemistry maths subjects typically assess the student understanding of concepts, theories and problem solving skills in this disciplines. The exam include a combination of very short answer, short answer and long answer, type questions asked in exam including practical exam in practical subjects also this is exam format and level is moderate.

Remarks:

College management Director was corrupted person he was the one who charged extra examination fees from student. Mark sheet of school and other important document has been kept by them till final year so that even if student wants to change the college they cannot.
