- There are all kinds of clubs possible for extracurricular.
- The teachers and staff are supportive at all times.
- Canteen food is both tasty and hygienic.
Dislikes
- No one apart from sports students are allowed to use the sports equipment. We have to carry and bring our own balls and everything in that case.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always had interest in Chemistry and the science behind the bonds. It has always fascinated me. The curriculum is very much similar to what we prepare for the competitive exams like NET or GATE, just the exam pattern is different. We mostly study for subjective university exam. The frequency and timing of exams is perfect, just how it should be. The difficulty level is moderate too.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offer internship like Eunous, HDFC, etc. There are also collaborations where the teachers from companies come to teach the students and then after the short course hire interns from here.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is same for all. Financial aid is provided to the needed. The amount varies student to student. The yearly fees is ₹35000. There is no extra fee apart from this. The university takes 2000-3000 per semester for the examination fees.
Campus Life
We have an annual fest called Kasturi which is religiously conducted every year gracefully. The library was my go to and favourite place. I spent most of my time there. The campus is overall green and clean. Swimming classes are also offered for various timings. The sports department is doing great too at both state and national levels. Theere has been many clubs like nukkad natak which is doing incredible job at social awareness. The facilities are good too.
Admission
Honestly I didn't apply for any other college. Since I was a NEET dropper and was sure of doing B.Sc. this college was perfect for me in terms of academics, affordablility and transport & accomodation. The admission process is very simple and is on first come first serve basis. We just have to fill the registration form. The addmission are done on 12th % , CUET, etc.
Faculty
In our department we have 6-7 teachers and our class had 35-40 students. The teachers are approachable and kind. They are considerate about our situation. I personally had a good bond with Kumud manlm and Swati mam. There are four semester exams and then fours midterms one in each semester. The exams are conducted to prepare us for the final university exams, so they are very much relevant.
Night Life
There is no nightlife here. The campus is close at 6 pm. Since I am not a hostel student, I have no idea about it. Though my favourite hangout place was canteen and sports ground. These places always cheered me. The gym area is so damn peaceful.
