Course Curriculum Overview

This program and the course are specifically formed with the intent of making the students have global knowledge and opening the horizons of the individuals in order to build designing and professional competency.

Placement Experience

Fashion designing is one of the most lucrative, appealing, glamorous and exciting career options in today's world. The placement service operates year-round to facilitate contacts between companies and students. Flipkart, Titan, and other companies are the greatest recruiters.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee varies with each semester and includes tuition fee, library fee, mediclaim, students development fee, exam fee and a one-time security deposit. The fee for first and second semester was 87,800/- & 64,000/- respectively.

Campus Life

The Institute has a strong Alumni base and strong industry linkage. Almost all the leading industries of the country are associated with the Institute and have key participation in academic matters.

Admission

My admission to the college was done through merit basis (Rank-wise) counseling based on the aggregate score in the All India Selection Test (AIST). FDDI is playing a key role in imparting education, facilitating the Indian industry by bridging the skill gap in various areas.

In vlb Janakiammal college of arts and science kovaipudhur coimbatore ,i dont know much about the placements but there are so much placements for everyone the placement success rate is almost 98 persent

They increase penalty if students dont pay the sem fees on time then they also increase the exam fees from sem to sem

My aim is to go cinema field.So,only I choose visual communication.After choosing visual communication only i can understood the real world is so different I can't get it anything easy I want to work hard to get the position I want to be.

Life in HIMT

With regards to training and placements the college is very good . All training as per DGMA and IMU is strictly followed and the placements for B.Sc is 90% and above . The faculties and instructors in the college are well experienced and skilled.
The college is strict regarding alcohol and smoking and it is not allowed inside campus and regular alcohol checks are conducted . Discipline and safety is the first priority for the college.
Classrooms are air conditioned. Hostel rooms are good . Any defects in rooms or any places inside college which are addressed are rectified.

Dislikes

College doesn't conduct inter college events . Internal events are very less . The few events conducted in college has also many restrictions.
Galley food can be better . College canteen is not good

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.

Admission process is preety simple , first preferred to register for admission in the website from online then you will all the details and submit data / documents then ahead you will specify which department and then ahead u will select an set of campuses ahead and if ur other category's you will have to submit the needed proofs and if ur general there will be no need , after that aist exam will be there and u will have to register and pay the amount and exam date will be said forward then ,after attending the examination the results will be out and you will have to enter data of ur username and ur results will be shown and placement of campus if u accept it u will have to pay an specific amount or even if ur not ok with the campus it's the same , later after ur duration of 4 years at the end the amount will be refunded back .so there is a choice helps to reapply for changing of the campus and this helps the college to re consider your application....Read More

Why I Chose FDDI Chennai I chose FDDI Chennai because it offers a specialized curriculum in Fashion Design / Footwear Design / Leather Goods, with strong industry linkages, good infrastructure, and a practical-oriented approach. Its backing by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry gives it credibility, and the placement support is also a strong factor. Why I Couldn't Make It to Other Colleges NIFT – Very high competition.
