Remarks

I love my college. I have spent some of my best years here and I have nothing bad to say about it. The teachers were great. The management was great. And, I made some amazing memories. I am currently pursuing my M.A in English.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted to do B.A English since it was my area of interest. It is a 3 years course so it has 6 semesters and there are two sets of exams each semester - internals (30 marks) and Externals (70 Marks). The subjects are amazing.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are really great at Thiruthangal Nadar College. The placement cell conducts the placement drive every year where good company like Wipro and HCL come to recruit. Most students get placed. Although, for my batch majority of students chose to go for masters so there were very less students who wanted jobs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my course was very inexpensive as compared to other colleges. I paid 25,000 for one year therefore paying 75000 for my entire course. This was just the academic fees. Exam fees and stuff were charged separately.

Campus Life

Thiruthangal Nadar College is a hub for extracurricular activities. We have numerous events happening all through the year. Starting from debate competitions to cultural programs to sports tournaments and even conferences.

Admission

Selection criteria requires you to get minimum of 60% in 10+2 boards from any recognised boards. I scored a 72% so all I had to do was to fill out the application form with the required documents and after getting shortlisted, the fees is to be paid. Simple!

Faculty

5

All the professors I have had were amazing. They were extremely intelligent and diligent. They took regular tests and doubt classes so that things were clearer and so that we didn't have to cram during exmas.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum 4/5. It is relevant and fairly comprehensive, covering core concepts, practical sessions, projects, and industry-oriented topics. However, more hands-on training and updated industry technologies could make it even better.

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.
