Entrance Preview

Orissa JEE 2008. I scored 1128 Rank . I choose this college because it was closer to my home and it fees structure was affordable .

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It was hectic. But i was fun going through out the syllabus. It comes under BPUT one of the tough universities still it is fun studying in this university.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Infosys, L&T tech Mahinder & also some small scale companies came for campus. Those got placed were lucky but those did not are still struggling.

Placement Experience

Though many companies came but the placement were for those who had good grades and had no year gap. Students with bad scores and year gap are still on struggle.

College Events

College events had to do much with the enthusiasm and talent show up for the people who were not know for there scores but for there active participation on events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as i paid Rs 50000 each semester. Plus Rs 100000 during admission which included an laptop and uniform.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes for financial weak ST/SC students they used to give a scholarship of Rs 18000 every year. The semester fee was Rs 50000 so the could easily.

Campus Life

2.5

Gender Ratio female vs male ratio was good.Hostel parties was awesome. Safe campus for girls. And what to say about guys all are "PURA ZAKASS" & Teaches are more like friends that teachers .

Exam Structure

Hectic. We had three internal test before each semester. Labs timing were long and Boring some times.

Faculty

3.5

All the faculty are good knowledgeable and are always there to help students any time any were in case of studies, extra curricular activities, sports.

College students are friendly and affordable
They give many fests and cultural events

Dislikes

They discriminate between girls and boys always
Discriminate between locals and others mainly if you are from Bihar
Many fights between odia and bihari every year

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible in 8th semester for sitting in the college placement the average package is around 3 lakhs mostly companies are startup's like tech yatra , mtechin etc . Major companies like tcs , tech Mahindra also come

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.
