Remarks
It is one of the best choices that I had. It is a reputed college which gives me better placement opportunities. It is private and thus there is focus on teaching. The best thing I liked about my college is its LOCATION, it literally felt like heaven and alon with that one can get a decent placement and also even some unexpected packages of one is hard/smart working. I opted Btech(CSE) because there are lot of job opportunities in this field. If one has knowledge, there are ample options.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum was just OK. I feel like there is more focus on theoretical knowledge in our courses and not on the practical knowledge. In real life the practical knowledge has far more value than theoretical knowledge and students must work on practical knowledge alongside their college course to get the best results. Industrial exposure in terms of placements was good. There were many companies that came to our college. Faculties were just OK. There was 1 teacher who taught me in 3rd year. He was exceptional.
Placement Experience
Lot of companies visit our campus. Amazon gives package of 27 lakhs while most students get placed in mass recruiters like Infosys/TCS. SOme other companies that came during my placements were SAP Labs, ZS Associates, CollegeDunia, Posist,etc. But one thing a student must be aware of his wants/goals and should have knowledge along with cut off marks for these companies. There are opportunities but only for those who are deserving. Otherwise one will have options only like Infosys/TCS/Wipro where one get a package of 360000 per anum.
College Events
Campus Life is great but it is only limited to campus as there are not something around the campus. But still you have around 1000-2000 students in the campus to interact with. There are lot of events taking place in the college in all domains including Technical, Cultural and Management Festivals. Colleges from other universities do participate in these events and offers great learning and experience.
Campus Life
My college infrastructure was just out of this world. It is one of the best/most beautiful campuses in India. Most people don't know and can't even imagine that there can be such a great creation in hilly region. There is LAN connection provided to every student. Library is also great. Lab equipment were also in abundance. One limitation is that there is not a specific ground(football/cricket) in the campus. This is the only limitation but to tackle this there are facilities like Badminton, Table Tennis, Gymnasium and a very great auditorium where latest movies are played 2-3 times in a month.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels have option for both single and sharing. Single occupants are 10% while Sharing is 90%. Rest all facilities are there. Hot Water, Internet, Laundry, Food, Gaming Room, TV room, Gymnasium along with the heavenly view which you would enjoy from each and every place of the college for the entire 4 years of your college life. There are PG facility also available near the campus. I don't have much idea about it but one thing is for sure that they are cheap when compared to college hostels but it comes at a cost that one is lonely there.
