Likes

beautiful scenery as the university is situated in himachal pradesh
girls are given more freedom in hostel as compared to other colleges and hostels
They offer a mould, groom and motivate policy for btech students who are interested in working in juit. In that the students are offered stipend as well as sponsored mtech.

Dislikes

Strict attendance criteria. students get debarred below 80%
They are currently increasing the number of students hugely which results in lack of hostels

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is quite theoritical and most colleges do not prepare students for the real job. it is more about gaining marks and cgpa and not much practical knowledge. Lack of practical knowledge results in no idea of real job

Placement Experience

Currently the placement scenario is not as good. Less companies come to college and majority hiring is by infosys. But some startups are also actively hiring with a good package and students are also actively going for off campus placements

Campus Life

JUIT has one of the best infrastructure. It is built very beutiful while mountains add grace to its beauty. It is built in 25 acres by an canadian architect. The overall campus life is remarkably good. The university has Jaypee youth club, which consists of all the fun activities, programs and fests

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good at JUIT. The rooms are spacious as well as have balconies. There are 3 different kind of hostels, some also have attached washrooms. The mess is included in hostels. JUIT has a common mess for girls and boys. The annapurna mess offers variety of food served with quality.

Hostel Fee: INR 160000 per year

Admission

i chose this college as it is a Jaypee chain and situated in a beautiful valley very close to shimla. It has extreme peace of mind. A place with no pollution and noises but just beauty. as well as the university offers good courses. JUIT is considered a very good university all over

Faculty

Faculty is very supportive and helpful in every way. JUIT has 3 theory exams and 3 practical exams per semester. The marking schemes are as follows: 15, 25 and 35 marks theory exams and 25 marks for internal. 20 marks for 2 practicals and rest 60 for project

Night Life

There is no night life outside the campus as it is located in a valley. In camops, girls are allowed uptil 9:30 pm whereas boys has no intime. All sporta are open uptil 10:30 pm and library uptil 12 am.

Likes

Infrastructure and quality of education and supportive professor for building our success career
Very supportive atmosphere for growth in any engineer branch
Very good approach towards creativity innovations and practical projects

Dislikes

Lack of auditoriium so most of gathering will be in open air theatre

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.

The campus really respects diversity. Students from different states and countries study together and that inclusion makes a big difference
The infrastructure and fab faculties are unmatched, for people dedicated to carrying out research, they have almost everything atvtheir disposal
Extra curricular activities make sure one is involved in multiple volunteery things rather than just academics

Dislikes

Relevant placement opportunities with good packages can be improved
The fee for courses could be regularised
Mode of exam conduction should be completely offline to ensure transparency

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in last semester. They can choose to sit in placements and select if they would like to join the company theyve been selected for. Eligible candidates do end up getting great packages

campus placement is good to moderate means is great avg package is 600000 as of my b.tech cse. yes for eligible for campus by 75% attendance , have to not a backlog in any sem need to pass each semester .

Campus is very good and nice view from college
Faculty is polite and very helpful and kind

Dislikes

Very less internship and placement option
Very slow wifi speen and only 1 gb per day

Course Curriculum Overview:

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

the fee structure are affordable for any one and hostel are also very cheap
they also help student to build cinfidence as many event are there so a person can loose his stage fear
the support of teacher for students is very good

Dislikes

i would say that the computer labs are not in very good conditions
the computer are not even advantageouos for aiml student
the infrastructre is not that good even no wifi facility

Placement Experience:

so as the first batch of cse ai ml is going to passout this year so there is no record of placement but hoping that their placement would be good as per teacher's expectations and also they provide intership in iit mandi

The faculty and staff are well qualified appx. all are phd .
The junior senior interaction is good .
There is good coding culture and all senior all helpful .

Dislikes

Area of college is 15 km from una city .
The curriculum us hectic in each semester it has atleast 6 subject.

Placement Experience:

My college offer above good placement . About 85-90% of the eligible student get placed with median package of 9 lakh and average of 11 lakh . Our placement incharge is Nistha Hooda. Highest placement is of 60 lakh and minimum is 4 lakh

Likes

Hostel fees is quite less despite providing many facilities.
Mess food is tasty and campus is small but clean and beautiful.
Curriculum is up-to-date. Teachers are helpful and friendly.

Dislikes

There are many unnecessary restrictions in hostel.
Sometimes you have too wait too long for food in mess.
Less events are organized and sports infrastructure is not too good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are average , it totally depends on the students skills and their cgpa. From 5th sem students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys, Redhat vistited the campus and made more than 200 offers. 171+ companies visited. Highest package is 1.11cr, average is 6lpa. 70% students gets placed. Planning to go in tech related jobs in industries after getting the degree.

I like the campus, there is greenery all over the campus.
Sports and cultural clubs and the festivals
very good wifi facility in the campus. And good gender ratio in institute

Dislikes

Climate is hot during summer. But winters are appreciable
Mess food is not good that much.. but we can eat.
Sometimes in hostel there is non availability of water . In bathrooms

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it has more scope in India as India is a developing country. It also has government jobs more than other fields. We can shift to it sector this is the flexibility of this course.

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. Juit is good

I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
