Remarks

Availability of my desired course, my cousin is an alumni of the university and the location also played a role. It's located on mussoorie road and is only 20km from mussoorie. Paid reviews on internet played the biggest role

Course Curriculum Overview

Honestly, almost every private engineering college is on the same boat and so is this one. All they want is the paymeny of fee and then everyone sleeps.ADMINISTRATION IS A DISASTER WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF MANAGEMENT.ARROGANT IS WHAT DEFINES THEM. They forced the students to collect there belonging from hostel or they would take the authority, during the Covid lockdown.Faculty is a mixed bag but no faculty will refuse to help you if you ask them.Curriculum is very average and nothing special infact it's not upto the mark. They charge more fee for specialisation course right from first yr. but I only encountered single subject of specialisation that too in 3rd yr. Don't know why they charge all that additional fee from first year.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 1500000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

if you join because you saw 25 LAKH placement.boom. it was out-campus placement.elete companies like AMAZON, MICROSOFT. don't visit here. mostly students are placed in tcs or infosys or tech Mahindra. If you have studied and have skills you will be placed. Placements are ok ok but not really fantastic.no better than other colleges.

College Events

Campus Life is quite ok.we only have 2 major fest YOUTHOPIA (Technical and cultural fest)SPHURTI (sports)Other then this we we have club specific competitions and other events.some summit.YOUTHOPIA is the most awaited event and it's awsm. But it's the only one.well most students enjoy in cafeteria or Maggi point or mussoorie. there's nothing much to enjoy in campus.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good but campus is very small. There is no definite space for sports specially if you play football or cricket.Wifi is ok ok.Library is wonderful.Lab equipments are good.Overall if they managed to get some space for sports, which I know they can.it would be really good

Hostel Facilities

Campus Life is good for boys but harsh for girls.Boys: can do anything.no in or out time.can order from swiggy or Zomato.Girls: very strict in and out time.can't order from Zomato or swiggy and even from college cafeteria.CANT WALK INSIDE THE HOSTEL PREMISES AFTER 9PMI mean you can't even walk inside the hostel gates past 9pm and you have to be in your rooms only.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

A Great Learning Experience with Good Industry Exposure

Likes

The college provides a vibrant campus environment with regular events, fests, club activities and opportunities to participate in different extracurricular activities. The overall campus atmosphere is energenic and provides good opportunities to stud
The faculty members are supportive and approchable and the college provides opportunities for students to develop various skills.
I appreciate the infrastructure and learning facilities available on campus, along with peaceful environment of Dehradun.

Dislikes

The placement process could be made more transparent by providing students with more regular information about placement opportunities.
There is scope for increasing practical and industrial oriented exposure through more guest lectures and interactions with industry professionals.
Coordination and communication regarding some academic and extracurricular activities could be improved so that students recieve information well in advance and can plan their participation accordingly.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placement opportunities with students becoming eligible in the final year. Various companies visit the campus for roles in marketing, sales, management and other business related profiles. The placement cell also supports students through placements drives and career guuidance. Along with campus placements internships and industry exposure help students improve their employability. After completing my BBA, I plan to persue a career in digital marketing and gain practical industry experience.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

Likes

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have done my graduation in Statistics so this Masters's course has improved my profile and given me better opportunities for my career growth. Faculty are well experienced. Professors have done PhD in their domain and have a good amount of experience. Term exams are semester-wise twice a year. It is easy to pass if we study on a daily basis.
