Remarks

Infrastructure is very very very beautiful good & big. I think my department has the best infrastructure in this college & our faculty members are friendly and Encouragable. There are aslo events like freshers, farewell, convocation, saraswati puja.

Course Curriculum Overview

Establish different practical laboratories for course syllabus updated purpose. The students have the opportunities to gain industrial exposure by many industrial training & visiting program. My college faculties were very good friendly and understanding, Subir Datta sir, was good according to me.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

The companies visited our college it's like wipro, infosys, psu & power grid. The highest package offered was 50,000 per month & the lowest was 25,000 per month. Almost 55% of our senior are got placed. The placement department under zo-tech committee are not that much usefull. No my batch mates doesn't not started any star-up.

College Events

There is different technical, cultural, management festivals like 'Virthli', talk show, food fest, varsity miss & mister, freshers, farewell, convocation, sports day, science fare, technical fest, saraswati puja, biswakarma puja. This programs are very big and huge amount of students are participate here and they are enjoying this so much.

I chose physics as a major subject because I want to know how the world is using physics iit is very difficult to understand but some topics also I don't understand which I used to study a lot. i think it is enough for the improvement of the course

Likes

I liked that most of the faculty are highly qualified one of my professor graduated from IIT Guwahati and also that the teachers teaching method are very helpful we can go anytime to them if we have any doubt
I liked that the the college has alot of clubs like chess club, mathematics clubs etc
I liked that it conducts alot of fest and seminars

Dislikes

The hostel food can be a little hard for outsiders but it is manageable
It would be good if we had a proper clean the hostel only nothing more the other areas are very clean
We regularly have CCA but it doesn't have that much fun in it

I chose this course because I was interested in this subject physics.The teaching method are good I don't think it needs any improvement it is in the students from here the teacher have done well .The frequency of exam is 1 per 2 months I think

My 2 years life in Mizoram University and Hostel life.

Likes

University Environment full of nature, people are kind and helpful, no raggings, no chaos , offers valuable course and syllabus
There is a bank within the campus with 3 ATMs including punjab national bank
I like the university week, especially Virthli and cultural program

Dislikes

Mizoram is too expensive to live, people doesn't bargain here
The roads are not good , so many potholes
Foods aren't good. Water scarcity in the hostel is the major problem

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university offers a great quality education to the students. However, there can be improvement in some areas like hands on training with sofisticating machines and tools, in making use of laboratory tools, informatics, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My first choice is MBBS for which I have tried. But in 2020 cutoff is too high so I choosen BVSc&Ah. Here is good interaction between students and teachers. All Teachers are well qualified as all are PhD holders. The teaching style is very nice after every theory class there is a practical class so it is interesting to study for example: after study heart, every 2 students dissect the heart of Ox with the professor so everyone can understand things very clearly. There is 3 internal exam in a year out of which best of 2 numbers will be added and 1 external exam with practical

Yes. I choose because I am accepted in interview. the admission process go on by grade the one who have good grade in HSSLC i. e distinction, 1st, 2nd just go through without facing any interview they are given direct admission. But having bad grades need to face interview.

Overall, the college experience was happening with all the students and faculty members and even the non teaching staff were polite and helped us during any crisis. Apart from this, the college also provide medical centre and gymnasium for the students' health and fitness.

A journey worth sharing

Placement Experience:

Placement is worse here nearly 1-2% students get placed each year . Wipro visits NIT nagaland every year and our college students have to visit there for placement. nearly 4 lakhs is the average per annum package.

You can take admission through JEE Mains and MZUEEE. MZUEEE is a university Entrance Exam. Admission process is very smooth and easy. The University doesn't provide any internship or any placement. I would suggest you to another college. If you don't have any option or your financial condition is very bad then you can prefer this University. A Life you can never predict of

The course I opt for is Btech, for which I gave the Jee Mains Entrance Exam. The application form for the JEE exam can be found at the NTA official website. From the NTA website I first registered for JEE Mains. The JEE Mains is held twice every year, general in January and April.The date of the examination is sent to you through your email id with your admit card. There is a reservation system also, for SC(Scheduled caste) 15%of seats are reserved, for ST(scheduled Tribe) 7.5% of seats are reserved, for OBC(Other backward caste) 27% of seats are reserved and for EWS(economic backward caste)10% of seats are reserved. The difficulty level of the exam is very unpredictable, it can be sometimes very tough and sometimes quite easy, so you can say it depends on your luck. If you get qualified for the exam, the counseling process takes place in like 4-5 rounds, in those rounds you have to select the college or university and the department you want to get in.
