Remarks

The college is very close to my home, takes 20 mins from my home. The year I took admission, it was ranked in top 30 Pharmacy Colleges of India by NIRF 2016. In all the campuses of Sinhgad, the Pharmacy college of Narhe was considered to be the best

Course Curriculum Overview

The college had good faculty but recently a lot of faculty left. We were following AICTE directed 2015 Credit Based Pattern under the Pune University. The curriculum was blend of practical and theory. Practical were conducted very thoroughly. We had guest speakers as well, mostly concentrated in the last year, atleast two in a month. In Faculties, all the teachers are extremely hardworking. The most impactful being Mr. Amol Bansode the faculty of Pharm analysis and Ms. Trupti Tated for Medicinal Chemistry, Mr Balu Salve and Mr P. Kaldate for Pharmacology and Dr C R Kokare for Pharm. Biotechnology. We had Evs trip in second year. As for the industrial experience, we have one month industrial training compulsory for getting the degree, assistance is provided but it can be improved. As for Industrial visit, college organizes one or two visits per batch, sadly due to the pandemic our batch couldn't go for one.

Internships Opportunities

I have served as an Campus Ambassador intern for International Model United Nations. The process of selection is filling a form of application for the same. If you answer the selection questions appropriately you receive a mail of selection.The profile includes promoting IMUN Conference among peers and bringing rregistration. The stipend is based on the performance.

Placement Experience

The companies that visit the campus include MNC like Sun, Cipla, Lupin. The Placement Cell in our college is headed by Mr U Bagul who is very dedicated and makes sure maximum students get placed. This year even in lockdown he arranged interviews from companies like Bajaj Allianz Health Insurance and Nestle. Companies like Episource Ltd have also visited the Campus. The Placement Cell actively conducts soft skill development program for third and final year student to make them work ready

College Events

There are plenty of activities that are conducted all throughout the year. Biggest being the Sinhgad Karandak encompassing Cultural Activities, Sports as well as Technical activities. Since two years, we are hosting a college fest Techtonic which hosts seminars and competitions. NSS activities are a must in our campus. Though I wish all could participate but the list of student participating is decided by the faculty. Apart from these, every year our college participate in inter college National Pharmacy Week Competition with active guidance from faculty.

Campus Life

We have one of the best infrastructures in Pune. With a fully functional pilot plant, consisting of Tray Dryer, Vaccum Dryer, Lyophiliser, Ointment Mixing machine. For analysis we have HPLC, IR, Nepheloturbidometer, Colorimeter, Flame Photometer, UV spectrophotometer to name a few. We also have a 8 station Tablet Compression Machine in the College. A fully functional Pharmacology Lab with Rota rod, Photo Actumetre etc

The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and always willing to help with academic or research projects.
The campus infrastructure is excellent, featuring modern labs, a well-stocked library, and great sports facilities.
Placement opportunities are robust, with many top-tier companies visiting the campus for recruitment every year.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

College is Good

Likes

Infrastructure is just too good- Building is Fully Air Conditioned
Placement are really decent for a Commerce Graduate around 6-7 Lakhs per annum
Lots of student Associations are there to gain practical exposure.

Dislikes

Very Strict Attendance Policy of 75 Percent.
Rigid and Time Consuming Course Structure
Lot of Fests are there but they do not match the Vibe like North Indian Colleges Fests

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent around 6-7 LPA and almost 50% students get placed and the Highest package is Around 22LPA . Many MNCs visit the college such as McKinsey,Barclays, Goldman Sachs etc. • I am planning to get placed in a MNC.

the curriculum included both theoretical and practical subjects related to computer science ,which matches my interest in technology and career growth . The curriculum provided foundational knowledge ,practical assignments ,and project work that helped in understanding real word application More industry oriented training is suggested the exams were conducted after 6 months every semester some times the results are delayed by university

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

"The Best college"

Faculty of College Is good. All Faculty of College is Well worsed.
Library of the College is Very Good. Having plenty of books. Each Volumes and edition are available to the library.
The Moot Court hall is well equipped. Having all the facilities and modern techniques as well.

Dislikes

The Infrastructure of boys Hostel Should be improved
There is no canteen in college. College can try to open canteen
Parking for Bikes should be improve. College having ample of space for car parking

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chooses this curriculum as I am intrested to do law. Many of students and other peoples praises the college as "Best College of Law" in Marathwada region. To be honest. Really it is best college. Which gives us best curriculum during our academic year. The curriculum of college teaches me how to become a good lawyer. The arguing skills etc. There should be no suggestions from my side just to imrove the course curriculum as it is overall good. The timings and scheduled are fixed by college and university. Generally the exam is in two shifts 10:00 to 1.00 and 2.00 to 5.00pm.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Wealthy and good campus

Likes

I like the cleanness of the collage and premise
Very good interaction with other peaceful campus
Another thing i like is the infrastructure good campus amenities and learning facilities

Dislikes

The lab management no sitting arrangement many of the water taps not working ect
The office faculty most of them are rude in behaviour
The parking arrangements not well yet and not allowing any of four wheeler inside the campus

I love pharmacy and i love to see me as an pharmacist i like this profession because i like to see the other pharmacists how they work how they wear the lab coat ect thats why i choose this and as soon i get to know that we can also start a business by having a pharmacy license
