Remarks

Since I scored less rank in PET and I was not appeared in counseling, one of my close friend told me that Krishna Engineering College was opening in 2016 and they are giving extra facilities to the students taking admission that is why I choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum was good, interesting. We have provided industrial exposure from our college but I think that was not enough for our future. Faculties are very friendly with their students, many times they inspire us by telling their story of struggling. I think Prakhar sir was good.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are less for Mechanical engineering students till now 3 companies came for CSE Students and 1 for CIVIL branch students no companies came for Mechanical engineering students. We have visited two to three companies like BSP, NSPCL, JAYASWAL NECO INDUSTRIES LTD.

College Events

As a mechanical engineering student I enjoyed my campus life most as compared to the other branch students. Many festivals are organised in our college and most of the time we was the coordinator of all those functions. Timing of festival depends on kind of festival. And yes almost all students take part in those functions.

BIT DURG a 3.5/5 college

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this curriculum is because I've a keen interest in computer programming. The exams aren't really hard if you know the basics and the curriculum. The Faculties are well educated but low-key outdated. Speaking of curriculum, I feel like the curriculum is super outdated and needs to be changed.

Placements of the college is not good only mass recruiter and service based company come to our college with the package of 3-4 lpa. Only few companies for 5-6 lpa and hires only handful of students. Placements percentage is also low only 35-40%

OPJU - Development while making great memories

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in campus placements after or during 3rd yr in btech. Intership guidance is also provided in 2nd yr onwards . Highest package of 2023 is 33 lpa with avg. Package of 5lpa. For branch like mechanical more than 90% students are placed. My plan is to take management minor in 2nd yr. And after graduation I will either go for MBA or first get placed and continue MBA while having a job.

Placement Experience:

As I am Btech Student, every student become eligible for campus placements after 7th Semester. Many companies visits the college such as JSL, TCS, Muthood Finance, Flipkart etc:- every year. Highest Package here was 33 Lakhs Per Year on Amazon by Sujeet Soni. And average package of the college varies from 4.8-4.9 lakhs per annum. Students getting placed varies from 85-89% success rate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influence me that is my branch is electronics and telecommunication there is study hardware and software both. That i am this course choose. For improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods more focus practical knowledge not the theoretical.

Remarks:

This institute is one of the primer institution in Chhattisgarh with best faculty and best infrastructure. This institute is situated in the heart of the city. You will get easy availability of hostel the college has its own hostel with excellent facility. Mess is also good and you will get good quality food here. The faculty is the best thing here you will get experienced faculty and they will help you in every situation. This college celebrate all the festivals and also the college fest is awesome. Everyone has to take part in all the events and this brings a great environment of this college. The infrastructure is the best and you have to attend the college everday. As i belong to Korba so i shifted here and lives in hostel this brings a great experience here.
