Remarks

It is very nice. The ambience is just awesome. The college is very nice. The course is very nice and the teachers are also very nice. DIT University, erstwhile Dehradun Institute of Technology, is a university near Dehradun in India, established by the non-profit Unison Group.

Course Curriculum Overview

I liked the ambience. Everyone is good and their behaviour is good. All of them is really good. Thier attitude towards students is really good. They are very cooperative and it has a positive attitude. They are very sweet.

They offer scholarship for Computer Application. The University provides Shri Naveen Agarwal Memorial Scholarships to meritorious and deserving students as a token of recognition of their performance at entry level.

Campus Life

It is very nice. it has playground and it has cafe area and it has a large area to enjoy life. In addition to a hi-tech auditorium and small digital auditoriums, the University has an open air where a vast variety of student activities are arranged. Various activities like ?Nukkad Nataks?, exhibitions, quiz competitions; plays and fashion shows are regularly organized in the Open Air Theatre. 500 capacity massive Open Air Theatre highlighted with integrated landscaping is available within the campus. Gymnasiums are located one each in girls' as well as boys' hostels. A well equipped Air-conditioned gym in the University hostels having latest instruments and machines has ensured better fitness and health facilities for the students, faculty and staff members of DIT University.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, hostel provides feeling of Home-Away-From-Home to the students. Keeping in view the same philosophy we provide a secure, comfortable and healthy environment for all the residents of the DIT University hostels. The hostel accommodation comprises of American style apartments which are well furnished, hygienic and have ultramodern amenities. Each apartment has three rooms shared by two students each, a lobby and attached bathrooms. The hostel premises has common TV room, tuck-shops (having stationary, barber, bakery, juice etc. shops) and state of the art indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The hostel campus has an excellent modern gymnasium with a trainer. The entire hostel premises are Wi-Fi enabled and has a separate computer centre with 24X7 internet facility.

The cafeteria is now wide and also breathable as they worked on infra

My honest review of MBPG College

Likes

Being a government college the fees are very low and student friendly most teachers are knowledgeable supportive and clear in explanation focus on studies exam and all over all discipline
Open ground greenery and enough space to relax between classes decent collection of academic books and difference material
Easy to reach from different part of Haldwani lesson unnecessary pressure more focus on its education

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old type som building needs to get repair
Campus placement opportunity are very few from classroom slabs and building need renovation
Not many model amenties compared to private colleges office works can be slow

Social life is good with feat happening around in college.
Wifi is provided in our building and the hostel.
Infrastructure of our new hostel and our labs is good

Dislikes

Teachers are qualified but the quality education is not good
Too much restriction on girls but boys are free to roam at night.
Mess food is just acceptable not that good.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students need to be atleast in last or second last semester of the course. But for internship it's fine even if student is in 1st or 2nd yr. But most of teh students here decided to pursue master from here only and I still don't know have exact idea hown many students got placed in th companies.

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

The faculties were friendly and approachable.
There was multiple sports ground, a cafeteria and libraries as well adding to the student requirements.
The overall college life was vibrant as multiple other extracurricular activities was organized from time to time.

Dislikes

The food menu was repetitive and be a lot more better.
Labs could use a bit more maintenance. Although, well equipped a few things was missing from it.
More practical is needed especially for a subject like agriculture.

Placement Experience:

The placement is decent and growing evey year. The students are eligible for campus placements from 3rs year itself. The highest placemet going up to 85LPA and the average placement package being about 6-7 LPA.

The faculty here is very helpful and they teach only realvent things about your course and they also provide you day to day notes and assingmemts for your daily prep

There is no such things that i did not like in this collage but if i have to say something i will go with the canteen service is very bad and not very friendly

Course Curriculum Overview:

On expericing day to day people and theirs pain in the muscle and joints . This made me decide why i should choose this course . The area which they need for improvement is if they give more attetion to some sports that will be very greatful for the students so that they can have some fun other study and stress. The timing of the collage is 9 to 5 and if you have any exam or practicals only then they call you on specific time and regular classes are off on that day duration of the exam is 1.5 hours

Teachers guide us throw them academy January for a main township and they teach us very well way of techniques

Placement Experience:

From 3 or 4 semester the students will become eligible for campus placement. Lots of companies and hospital employees come here for placement job . And take our interviews . They heir us give the job with good salaries .. above 60% marks students get placement with handsome salary. With a satisfying way . There is a lots of plan of mine to take a job in good hospital with good service and salaries with good staff with good coordination. To help patients to operate them and save their life as possible as I can do.

You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th.
