Remarks

Good remark- Industrial visits are in good companies and good pratical knowledge.Bad remark- Car Parking is less, surrounding of college should be develop.

Course Curriculum Overview

The method of exams and teaching is revenant. Industrial visits are organised 2 times per semester in well-known companies for eg:PARI SHIRWAR, etc.College arranges various programmes for students for self development and pratical knowledge for campus placements.

Placement Experience

Companies visited: Cooper, Tata, Volkswagen, Bajaj, Toyota, etc. Steps for recruitment for companies :Fill the company form Entrance examGroup Discussion Interview. 60% students are placed in the companies per year.Special programmes are taken by college for their placements.

Gathering are arranged every year. Sports are arranged in which various games are played. Volunteers are arranged from students for this programme management. Every student can take part in this events.Engineering day is also celebrated. Projects making competitions are arranged.

Yes, college provides transparency in the fees-breakdown. No, their is not any additional fees. The college has separate bank in which we have an account from where we can give fees to college. College has approximately 1Lakh fees per year but we gets scolarships.

Yes, college offers scholarships opportunities to students. 50% scolarship is provided by government if we are eligible for it.

Campus Life

6:4 ratio of male and female. No parties in college. Compulsary workshops are held for every student. No comparison between students but their is some politics between staff. Honestly, every student is observed separately and reviewed by staff. Every program is arranged by students with good unity.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are great for experience sharing about exams, staff, etc.Good alumni network, for any programme their is unity among students.

Admission

I was interested in this course. I was selected in merit list. This institution was famous and well-known. The dates of admission are opened in june month. Admission process is fully online. Their are college agents which helps new commers for admissions process.

Faculty

Approximately 200 lectures are arranged per semester and also praticals. Experts are also called for taking lectures for clearing students dought about praticals. Students have opportunities for arranging experts by requesting the staff for any programme.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

Dislikes

missing on college campus because of space .

Placement Experience:

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.

I mostly applied for University in Pune e.g COEP, AIT, VIT, PCCOE, VIT etc and some of the institutes of Satara but at the first allotment I was allotted with KBPCOES and then my parents told me to take that college as it is not far from my home. No, I didn't avail any quota for admission. Admission criteria for candidates are that they must have completed 10+2 and must have a valid score in MHT-CET or JEE MAINS. The Good aspects of the college were the experienced faculty that it has. The faculty for mechanical engineering department has a minimum experience of 5 years and maximum experience of 32 years in teaching. And also another good aspect is the location of the college. The location is especially benificial for mechanical engineers as the MIDC of the city is like 1 km away from the college because of which there is good industrial exposure. One bad aspect of the college is the mediocre infrasturcture of the college. It is one of the oldest and renowned colleges in all of western Maharashtra. During the 90s it was among the top 3 colleges in western Maharashtra. The faculty here are very well versed in the subject they teach. Today around 50% of the faculty here have a experience of above 20 years. The college is also very well placed in terms of location. The main MIDC of the city is located just 2km away from the college,due to which there is ample chance of practical exposure for the students. All the seniors as well as juniors study together,bullying thing is not at all a thing in the college, atmosphere in college is always very energetic no matter what is the weather outside.No one will regret the 4 years they spend at this college....Read More
