Remarks

I joined IESMCRC college in year 2020, till now my experience with this college is really good. The faculty is very helpful and always ready to solve our doubt. The course curriculum is as per industry best. Due to lockdown we are studying from online classes but still all possible type of peers activities are taking place for our overall development. The admission procedure of this college is through Cmat, Cat. We also get access of eBooks library from which we can study and acquire new information.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is really helpful and are best at their subject and help us to understand the subject very well even in online classes. The course curriculum is designed as per industry needs and it is more application based than theory which is need of today industry. The student and faculty ratio is pretty good. Our college follows a trimester system and due to lockdown our first trimester going to be online which is different experience for all of us.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college provide us many live projects and internship opportunities and 100% students get summer internship from our college. We also have SLC curriculum which is designed to help us in learning new skills, so that we can be industry ready.

Placement Experience

The campus placement of our college is pretty good, many renowned names come to our college and almost 90% students get placement from our college. The highest package of our college last year is 10 lakhs and average is 6 lakhs. In summer internship 100% students get internship from college which help us in understanding the industry better.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college fees is 8.25 lakhs with 25000 refundable amount which is quite affordable and the placement scenario in our college is really good as almost 90% of students get placed in renowned brand with a roles like data analyst, account manager, sales executive and many others. We also get a summer internship from a college which is also help us in acquiring new skills and learning more about industry.

Campus Life

Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled and we also have a huge library with thousands of books. Due to lockdown we are studying through online classes so to give us relief our college also avail us the books and also give us eBooks library access. The annual fest of our college is Pratyush which is an also an important aspect for our overall development. There are many clubs in our college and many students is part of these clubs. Some clubs are social media club, CIC club, Rhythm team, HR club, marketing club and finance club.

Interview Experience

Due to lockdown, our interview was conducted online which contains two round. In the first round we need to speak on a topic provided for 2-3 minutes and other round is personal interview which contains questions related to work experience, academics and Gk.There is one more round that was optional but have bonus points in that round we need to make a presentation on a given topic to check our presentation skills.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

First of all I wasn't aiming this college, I was getting NL Dalmia College but due to high fees The next good college I felt after Dalmia was IES compare to the other colleges in Bandra.The admission Process had a Personal interview with Passing criteria of CET ,ATMA,CMAT whichever entrance test you have given.Just you need to have a decent /passing marks in the entrance. 50% aggregate is required in the bachelor's degree. Any bachelor's degree works. MHCET is the entrance exam required with a minimum score of 125. The cutoff was 97% last year. My friend was already studying here, he gave me good reviews about this college, also my scores were not that good enough to crack colleges like TISS or JBIMS or IIMs, The admission process was very systematic I got an email regarding the shortlist, they gave me a date on which I had to come and deposit the fees along with all the documents followed by a mentoring session by one of the senior professors, guiding and briefing us about the rules and regulations, dos and dont's of the college in front of our parents. It was a round table discussion that included only 6 parents and students at a time. The other staff that is the admin and peons were very helpful and polite The reason I chose this college over other colleges was this was the best one in town after the top 10 colleges of Mumbai, the thing is if you cannot crack JBIMS,TISS, Welingkar, or Somaiya you should choose IES over chetana or met or ibs or itm....Read More
