GNIMS Mumbai Admission Dates 2026

GNIMS Mumbai admissions for 2026-27 span three routes. MMS and MCA are governed by DTE Maharashtra through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), anchored by MAH-CET. PGDM is managed directly by GNIMS using national entrance exam scores and a Personal Interview round.

GNIMS Mumbai Courses and Fees

GNIMS Mumbai offers 12 programmes across full-time PG, executive, and professional certificate segments. All full-time programmes are postgraduate. There are no undergraduate programmes at GNIMS.

PGDM and MMS are the two flagship full-time two-year management programmes. The PGDBF is a dedicated banking and finance track. PGPSM in Sports Management is a one-year specialised programme.

GNIMS Mumbai Admission Process

GNIMS Mumbai runs two parallel admission tracks. MMS and MCA follow the state government CAP process mandated by DTE Maharashtra. PGDM and other programmes use direct institute-level admission based on national entrance scores and an interview.

GNIMS MMS and MCA Admission

MMS (Master in Management Studies) and MCA (Master of Computer Applications) are University of Mumbai degree programmes filled exclusively through DTE Maharashtra CAP rounds. No direct admission is available for these programmes.

• Eligibility for MMS: Graduation (minimum 3 years) with 50% aggregate from a UGC-recognised university. Backward class and PwD candidates from Maharashtra need 45%.
• Entrance: Valid MAH-MBA/MMS-CET score is mandatory for MMS CAP. MAH-MCA-CET for MCA.
• The 15% All India Quota seats for MMS accept CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, or CMAT in addition to MAH-MBA-CET.
• Final-year graduation students may apply provisionally.
• Candidates register on the DTE Maharashtra CAP portal, submit choice forms, and receive allotment. Document verification and seat confirmation follow.

GNIMS PGDM Admission

PGDM is the AICTE-approved flagship programme managed directly by GNIMS, independent of the DTE CAP process.

• Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline with 50% aggregate. Final-year students may apply provisionally.
• Entrance: Valid score in CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, or MAH-MBA-CET.
• Selection includes a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by GNIMS. Candidates are shortlisted based on entrance score and then called for PI.
• Apply at gnims.edu.in. Seats fill on a rolling basis after each PI round.

GNIMS Other PG Programmes

GNIMS Mumbai Placements

GNIMS Mumbai has a preferred partner network of over 200 corporations. The highest package recorded in recent placement cycles stood at INR 12.67 LPA. The average package for recent batches is around INR 5.5 LPA, based on available placement data.

GNIMS placements draw from Mumbai’s finance, FMCG, IT, and banking sectors. Confirmed recruiters who have hired GNIMS graduates include ITC Limited, Capgemini, Reliance Industries, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Morningstar, and NeoGrowth Credit. The PGDM and MMS batches are the primary pool for campus placements.

PGDM students with finance or marketing specialisations have found roles in banking, capital markets, and brand management roles in Mumbai-based firms. The MCA batch is placed primarily in IT and analytics roles.

GNIMS Mumbai Scholarships

GNIMS Mumbai does not publish a structured merit scholarship scheme. Fee payment in instalments is available across programmes. Government scholarship schemes applicable to Maharashtra-domicile students from backward class and minority communities may be accessed through the state scholarship portal.

GNIMS Mumbai Campus and Infrastructure
