Remarks

Overall my college was outstanding and I don't have any words to explain its qualities in few words. I really would love to join it again if I get any chance.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE and I chose Electronics and communication just because of its popularity. So for that, I attended 3 counselings and I got admission in the last one. Last counseling was mock counseling and Students with ranks less than 80, 000 were selected.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It consists of various subjects that are based on IT as well as Electronics itself. Some of those are Digital Electronics, Computer Architecture, Linear Integrated Circuits, etc.

Internships Opportunities

Alot of companies visited my college and they offered an Average of 3 lacs per year internship to students in different fields. Companies like TCS took most of the students. Internship is based on Test and Interviews. Firstly, Test is conducted and Students who cleared that were taken for the interview. Students clearing the Interview were finally selected.

Placement Experience

3

Placement was really good. Companies like TCS, Navyug, etc came there and they offered an Average of 3 lacs per year internship to students. Around 50% of students were placed.

College Events

4

Alot of events took place dere. Like various sport meets. Main cultural event there was Jashan in which different cultural activities are performed by students of all departments. Most of the students used to take part in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure was feasible but not according to the government University, as it was about 1 lac per year per each student. It is ti be filled in 2 installments of 6 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given on the basis of studies and also in the financial conditions of the family of student. Around half of their total fee is discounted if they avail that scholarship.

Campus Life

3

Whole campus life was just awesome. There was no ragging anywhere. Different cultural activities were performed to keep us entertained.Gender ratio was almost equal.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facilities were very good overall except the mess food the quality of which was under the level of University. Sharing rooms were there which can be shared either by two or by three students.

Alumni/Alumna

If I talk about behavior of seniors, that was completely not upto the mark as they used to be selfish in their works so interaction was there but it was very rare.

Exam Structure

Exam were taken after every two months so as to make the child learn properly. Different practical activities were also tested and proper assessment is given on its basis. Overall CGP system was followed.

Faculty

3.5

Faculity of this college is satisfactory because some of those are really awesome but some are like as they are appointed just on the basis of bribe. The head of our department was Mrs.Sukhleen Bindra and she was very nice by nature. But some of our teachers like Deepti Grover were completely underdeveloped and they dont know anything about the subject they teach.

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
