Remarks

Out of the shortlisted colleges I liked the prospectus of IIM Raipur and also the college had a location preference as it is located in the capital of the state. It also had a brand new campus which was inaugurated with our batch with all facilities like Single rooms, sports complex, swimming pool etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

the course was up to date and following the Harvard business school curriculum. Subjects like project management and logistics management had industry visits and exposure for the same was provided. It had good number of in-house faculty and some of them were really exceptional and the rest were the same as u find it normal colleges. Prof Jagrook Dawra is one of the best professor in IIM Raipur

Class Size: 210Course Fees: INR 13 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have interned at Murrugapa group based out of Chennai. I received a stipend about 50K excluding stay .

Placement Experience

4.5

lot of companies visit the company almost all the Mnc and it companies. this year we saw a lot of start up companies coming the campus. the placement process has not yet been completed due to the pandemic .

College Events

We had organised a marathon named prayas in Raipur, we also had cultural fest in the campus which saw participation from IIT Raipur, HNLU, NIT Raipur. there's always events going in the campus there are section wars which is done. there is always guest lectures from the business world which keeps u occupied

Fees and Financial Aid

There is idbi bank in the campus itself so u could avail your loan directly from there without any hassles. As u get a seat in IIM u don't have to show any assets for availing the loan. U can directly avail the loan

Campus Life

As mentioned earlier . we were the first batch to move to the new campus. we had all the facilities which a b-school offers. we had a gym , swimming pool ,sports complex , basketball and tennis courts.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Single sharing rooms with washroom. the rooms had radiant cooling which made stay very comfortable, the rooms are cleaned everyday by the staff and maintained properly. the fees was included in the total fees as IIM offers only residential courses

Hostel Fee: INR 45000 per year

Life at IIM Raipur

The admission process starts with the CAT examination. You need to have a graduation degree to apply. Work experience is not compulsory. The application forms for CAT have to be filled which is available easily online. Later you have to fill in the CAP form for many of the new and baby IIMs. The admission process is kind of good and I don't think so there is a need for improvement in it....Read More

College Review

Our CAT interview process is IIM and I am giving you about the IIM Trichy Chennai campus. So we went there and the hospitality very good. And initially, there was one person, he verifies all the documents. And then we went to for CAT exam and were given with pen and paper. We were asked to write on paper and after waiting for a while, they were calling per person one by one. The interview happens in about 15-20 minutes. The interview was started with the basic questions, tell me about yourself? And then they briefly bring to my file, college projects and some business idea. And they asked about my hobbies and even I danced in my interview. That was the funniest part of the interview. Finally, they asked me about the current scenario and I was quite confident about all my answers. I was pretty sure that I would convert all the points....Read More

The kind of campus they had and also I went through the LinkedIn profiles of the alumni and for which companies they are working and internally how they are doing. I also spoke to a couple of people who are there and try to get an idea of how the campus life feels and how to appear to learn and alumni pings and connect with us. So considering these things, I found Raipur to be the best fit....Read More
