Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) is a public university located in New Delhi, India. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic under the control of the Government of India. It is Delhi's first Engineering college and amongst the few engineering institutions in India set up prior to independence.[2][3] The institute has been under the government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi since 1963 and was affiliated with the University of Delhi from 1952 to 2009. In 2009, the college was given state university status, thus changing its name to Delhi Technological University. Till the year 2009, DCE shared its admission procedure and syllabus for various B.E. courses with Netaji Subhas University of Technology, formerly DIT, which were prescribed by Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum, academics and facilities are Very good to average. It belongs from person to person. Canteens in building 101. In the main student canteen in building 101 you can get a hot meal, sandwiches, salads etc. Additional canteens and cafes. Polyteknisk Boghandel. DTU Skylab in building 373. Laboratories. Nanoteket. Cash point machine.

Placement Experience

Placement are good and nice Placements in our college are quite good, and the university claims 100% placements. The highest salary package offered goes up to more than 1 crores, and the average salary package offered was about 15 LPA. Almost 95-96% of the students from DTU easily secure internship.

College Events

Campus life is so so so gooodddd. Beleive me you'll never regret it. Life is pretty fun. You get to be whatever you want to. From artists, musicians, singers, orators, dancers, writers, programmers, athletes you'll find everyone damn talent over here! Don't rule the students of DTU out by saying they are studious. The most famous spot in the campus, is the Open Air Theatre (OAT)

College provided good exposure to the real life world.
It provided numerous society opportunities where we could learn more about different things except bookish knowledge.
Inter college exposure was provided which helped in numerous networking opportunities.

Dislikes

The infrastructure was very poor and old.
No support by the college for leaves for internship opportunities.
Poor teacher student bonding in the college.

The course curriculum is somewhere releveant to the course. It gives overall information regarding the different aspects of the course. Exams happen twice a year on semester basis and are easy to moderate level in terms of difficulty.

supportive and approachable who explains concepts really well, like pallavi mam and shweta mam
good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

research and business analytics is the first batch to get placed
seniors are supportive and friendly with juniors

Dislikes

campus has limited sports facility and activities.
there is no residential campus vibes as it is very small
college ROI is very poor as the fees is high

from third semister students get eligible for placement and the avg package is 12.5 and median is 11 and highest is 24.There is 90% placement record.MARCH, DELLOIT, ACCENTURE, TECH MAHINDRA are the few reputed companies coming into the campus.

We don't have classes in our respective colleges in masters . We have our classes in faculty of social science which is just opposite to drc building and the good thing is all students around 300 of study in same class together .
Great infrastructure, ac installed in the fss and satyakam building.
Highly qualified faculty and helpful throughout the course.

Dislikes

Since our classes are held in faculty of social sciences building and not in respective colleges so we don't get to experience the exposure of our colleges .
But what I have seen in drc while visiting for documentation work, the infrastructure is not really great and but they are building new ones and trying to make in better.
Fee is too high compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of our course offers various branches of political science, like comparative politics, political theory, international relations, security studies, gender and ir, public administration, indian polity , social exclusion, etc which enriches your understanding of the domestic and international politics.

Campus life is so good, they plan trip every year
I loved the teaching method, the seminars that were conducted were very helpful
Pranav sir, nishant sir, ashish sir they are very supportive and nice. D

Dislikes

There is no ground but they do take you to cricket grounds and tounament is conducted every semester so you can join the cricket team and they will take you there, even for badminton and other sports too

Placement Experience:

Placement are very good. Even like after four semester, you get the opportunity to do internship and almost tap this get placed and according to the calibre, 10,000 50,000 15,000 if I talk about myself, I got an internship at Hero wide of 20,000 so and after that, also, I got the placement in the same company when they came for the place along with three swim. We also placed in the same and next year when I sit in the next place, they help me in getting a job Italian's partner or what else can be better than this that they treat their student as a family. Even after when you're passing out, you don't feel like You are left out or you can't go again, so this is a thing which is really great about our college.

The timing of the college is very convenient to each and every student. My house is about 30km far from college but I reach the college daliy on time easily.
The connection between teacher and students is very strong HOD mam is also very good in nature.
The faculty, teacher is quite decent but there teacher method is really impressive.

Dislikes

The college have no infrastructure literally there are no ground in college and the location of college is in any village where no facilities provided to us.
Only with dtc bus can reach the college metro is about 10km far from college.
The college have facilities but they do not provide to us. There are AC in every class but no AC are functioning. Really bad experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I apply for the diploma in pharmacy in this college because at that time I do not have any other option to take admission in another college so I get admission in this college. The curriculum preparation to us for real world application. I suggest that the teacher are much good but please increase number of teachers in college. Teaching methods are good. Frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective on difficulty level is Decent because we get less time to prepare for the exams.
