Remarks

Deboraj Roy College one of famous college of upper Assam and affiliated by Dibrugarh University. The college is known for its teaching quality. Most importantly the college is in our home district. So that I got admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course syllabus is prepared by Dibrugarh University, but the syllabus is not good. It base on exam and grade.The faculties of our college is very good. Teaching faculties of our college known faculty in upper Assam.

Placement Experience

Placement rate of our college is satisfiable. After passed out most of the students of Deboraj Roy College successfully securing seats in Assam and North East's top university's. Many students get jobs after passing out.

College Events

Our college much concern about students skills and talents development. To develop that every year our college organise many annual events that help to develop the CO curricular activities of students. I. G. freshman social, College annual week, cultural nights and programs etc.

Thoughts regarding my college

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in 5th semester.Various companies come for placement like HDFC bank and more.The package that was offered was around 2lpa in 2024.During our time placement drive was organised in 5th semester but the companies demanded immediate joining which was not possible for us to join since we were already left with one more semester to complete .

Placements are good . Around 60% students gets placed. More than 250+ companies visits. Many students are preferring DS and Non Tech roles after graduation ( for core branches ) and they are getting good opporutunities in them aswell.

A chapter of growth, my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I had the passion for civil since my 10th std. I am really happy about my course . Because there are many job opportunities in govt sector in Assam. I like the teachers of my dept but some are not that friendly . Maybe it depends upon their mood sometimes I don't know really . The civil course is practical it's enjoyable. I would have liked it more if it would had more placement opportunities on campus . Otherwise it's fine

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Course curriculum is Really tough...its really hard to complete this vast syllabus in a year that is anatomy of whole body, biochemistry whole reactions and physiology whole processes that is physiological in nature.

Good college. Its the best college near my home. Its graded A by NAAC. This college have good result always under Dibrugarh University. Not so far from my home. A beautiful campas the college have. The college is on the periphery of town. Thats why it has good environment. The students can concentrate in the class. Good facility of toilets. 24×7 hrs water.
