Remarks

when i took admission it was 3rd best college in india and was highly recommend by my friends and family admission process was very simple i wrote exam and in 1st counselling rounds got the college i stay in Bangalore and it was near my home too so selected this college over others

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Bsc Agriculture provides wide ranges of jobs after graduation total students are around 1000 and total faculty count is around 100 all teachers have PhD degrees term exams are regular- internals and externals passing exams is not much difficult

Course Fees: INR 31960 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

There is campus placement but that won't hello much bcoz there are very less agriculture industries coming up to college. but after degree one can join banking sector, UPSC. can also opt for further studies. My plan is to join defense after this degree. there are many opportunities for business setups

Fees and Financial Aid

fee is very less as it is a govt college and there are no hikes and it is very affordable for students from weaker economic sections

Campus Life

every year KRISHI MELA is organised library have a very good amount of books classroom are well equipped Sports and CCA activities are regular there are many clubs too for students like poetry ,dancing singing , drama, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms are very good we get a TV hall free wifi in rooms meal quality is good and menu is same over the week dal Chapati rice and a dry sabzi hostel+food is very affordable and it's free for SC/STs registration process is just filling up a form and paying a fully refundable deposit of 13K

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Class room are very good and clean atmosphere.

Dislikes

Regarding education all is good but we face problems regarding transportation.
Over crowded in class room because we have hundreds students in class room.
Except these two all facilities are good.

Placement Experience:

In this course placement is very low but other competative job is many more.5th semester students are eligible for compus placement. Fertilizer and agriculture engineering companies are visiting in this college. 3 lack package will given in company. Average 9cgp will taken every student. My gole is KAS will study after degree.

My review about my college

Likes

NA, all faculty and facilities are good..
NA, all faculty And facilities are good.
NA, all faculty and facilities are good.

Dislikes

Class strength is high and ratio of boys and girls are equal 1:1
They provide placement but less comparison with other course.
These are the things they need to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One thing i choose this agriculture field because i have passion in this field. After complete our degree program most go for banking sectors because agriculture now a days no much openings. No need to improve there teaching level because their teaching at topmost. External exam paper are quite difficult

The college atmosphere. As the campus was too big and the choosed course was bsc in agriculture, the campus was too greenery giving a aesthetic feel
The infrastructure of d clg ,canteen and the lawn in between the different departments.
The library which was too big and included almost every fields.

The college timings, literally it was school ka kind.from 8 to 5pm.it was difficult to sit there
No encouragement towards cultural events .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum included the syllabus including 22 different departments like agronomy, entomology, pathology, food science, forestry etc...it thought us abt frm basics, but the hing was it included the old syllabus and the new technology in agriculture was noy included.

Yes, students of UAHS Bangalore who do not want to apply for hostel accommodations can seek private accommodation. There are many PGs and rented rooms at the vicinity of the university.

College life on a loop!

Actually I wrote the cuet (common university entrance test)for different agricultural universities under icar the exam was of 600 marks all MCQ and I scored 420 marks with a overall india rank of 2100 Later during option filling my first option was universal of agricultural and Horticultural science Bangalore but I couldn't get there for somewhat 1000 rank difference do the next best option was this college so I filled option here and I got it in the second round. My overall admission procedure was never planned one because I will actually preparing for neet and unfortunately I couldn't get it so simply write the cuet exam I got this college..coming to the procedure here we took admission from the main university where is gave our important credentials like 10th and 12th mark card..cuet score card.. allotment letter etc..and we payed registration fee and got our admission letter which we submitted at our college and admission was confirmed .....if I got 500 plus mark I would have surely got my desired college but this didn't happen so I took admission at this college as I asked many seniors who studied here..2 seniors told that this college is good and adjustable even though problem with food may occur..but accademically it is a better option....Read More
