Remarks

This college is set amidst natural beauty. It is situated around 20kms away from the main city, so it is devoid of any hustle and bustle from the city. A calm and peaceful environment is maintained. It was also near to my home so I chose this college. I had also heard about a good faculty members here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has a well defined curriculum designed to help students grow in their respective feilds. The faculties and the academic department of the institution is also helpful. The teachers cover every topic in a good manner. Proper equipments are provided in labs for better understanding.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are decent. It is however improving every year. The placement team works hard to get good companies on board. Infosys,tech mahindra and tata steel come here for general campus placements

College Events

The campus life during the night is aesthetic. The weather is very good during the evenings. The college conducts several events and it is very enjoying. Technical fests are also conducted some times. Vasantika is the biggest annual fest that can amuse anyone.

Campus Life

The campus is huge. It is around 170 acres and is very beautifully maintained. One can find a close connect to flora and fauna here. Different kinds of beautiful birds are seen around the campus. The campus also has courts for sports and recreation. A gym, swimming pool and much more.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel needs to be maintained more as the food quality in mess is not that proper. Also girls cannot go out after 5 pm. The hostel rooms are decent and are cleaned properly. The washrooms in the hostel also need some basic maintenance.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Best college in Bhubaneswar

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

Teaching pattern and teachers are good and helpful

Location but now it's developing a lot here
Food of the canteen can be better than what it is
They don't give fruits or milk for breakfast

there are smart class rooms and good faculty for my course and various extracurricular activities are available for students
you can compete many state and national level competitions such as essay writings, creative writings, debate, poster making, etc.
the management of the university is really commendable. various departments and cells have been established to help students in their academic life such as; placement cells, incubation and innovation centers for young entrepreneurs

Dislikes

students who are engaged in political activities often exercise their dominance over other students
sanitation could be better with the mutual efforts of both the students and the college management
though is a placement cell present, i haven't seen many numbers of students getting employed through the university placement cell

sociology as an academic discipline is really sought after in the recent times. it is considered as one of the most sought elective chosen by the upsc aspirants and the discipline in itself gives you a great chance at understanding your society and other societies about how they function amd operate, provides knowledge about various cultures, health, environment, city structure and so much more. you can pursue higher studies or go for NET exams right after post graduation. you can also work with ngos and other nonprofit organizations. each semester is ideally of 6 months and two exams are there. the difficulty level of exams would range from moderate to high

Our college has really good faculty who have really high expertise in their own subjects

Likes

The teaching style of the teachers are good and they are too much dedicated towards student.
The college environment that's very good. Full of nature and a natural environment.

Dislikes

The drinking water is not good. Acqua guard not sufficient.
The buildings are too old. Need to improve that.
All the courses are not provided and for UG students they may suffer many problems regarding official things

The frequency of timing is almost good. Student can study properly within the 2 exams time period. Bcom course as well as college as well as faculty is themselves a practical world .What going on this world that mainly study in this world mainly in the subject of economy.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

First reason was that it was cheaper in fee as compared to other colleges at that time but now they have increased the fee also later stage I realised that I did mistake choosing this college over the available options like silicon institute of technology,cv Raman University and SOA around similar fee structure with better facilities and placement stats. Actually I also applied for Iter Bbsr . But due to some family reason I can't take admission in it . Then after I see that, Driems facilities is also good. And no other college than compared within these fees structure and high facilities . No , I didn't get any rejection from any college, I didn't go there , due to some financial issues..
