Remarks
It is the top college of A.K.T.U university and it is known for its good placement and also due to it's location. It is the best college for engineering. As placements in cs/IT department are best that's why i took the I.T. branch. The placement percentage is around 85%. This year the highest package goes to 39lpa.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course syllabus is provided by A.K.T.U and i think it is same from past 3 years. College is taking you to different companies tours to give you some industrial exposure. The classes are run whole year properly but the thing is that for better knowledge you have to study itself and students did it as the environment of studies is very competitive. The faculties are good they help you in solving your doubts but their main motive is how to get marks in exam. Not interested in teaching deep knowledge of that subject. Overall due to good students you can lift yourself and can get a good package.
Placement Experience
Here various companies are come for hiring students. Companies like tech mahindra, Adobe, kroton, tcs, infosys, wipro, byju, gradeup, etc. Till now i don't know more about the placements but i just heard that the highest package is gone around 39lpa taken by 1 student, then 32lpa- 3 student. And i just know that civil and mechanical department students can also sit in placements if they have good marks.
College Events
Mostly all college events are conducted by different societies/clubs at regular intervals of time. They conducted various workshops/training program for beginners. Cultural programs are done at national events like independence day. And most of events are done in college fest which is around of 3 days. All different kinds of events are done by different societies. College fest is conducted at a big level, as outside college students are also come to participate in events.
Hostel Facilities
Yes i have taken the hostel, hostel is good, infrastructure is also good. Mess food is of average quality. But overall i want to say that if u want to live in any hostal or pg then please prefer college hostel because it is good for attending classes easily. Bcz generally the pg, hostels are at 600m distance far from college so it is not comfortable to attend afternoon class.
