Remarks

I was always intrigued with the management Side of sporting events after I worked as in the hospitality department of the FIFA U- 17 World cup that took place in India on 2017. I was always into sports. I played professional basketball as well so if not as a player as a management professional I wanted to be linked with sports. I had faced a lot of trouble with how the criteria is set for playing basketball in our country, the loopholes present in it and so wanted to bring a positive change in that scenario, uplift the game of basketball in India at a broader scale, work with companies that directly handle athletes and events related to sport's. The college I study in, International institute of sports management is the first college in our country to bring this course up. I is widely regarded as the best college when it comes to sport's management so yes it was a no brainier for me to take up sport's management in iism itself. Our college has a lot of international tie ups which would definitely help me link with companies so as to go abroad and study what and how different the sport's structure is in other countries are, where our country is lagging behind and bring this inputs and apply them as much as possible cause we all know the next big thing and the biggest untapped market of sports has to be India.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course syllabus could do a lot of brushing up cause I've been in the industry and what I've seen there and what is tought in our college doesn't do much justice. Our college though has provided us with a lot of industry exposure. Our college needs to have a good sports facility of their own and is probably the biggest drawback of our college.

Placement Experience

4

Well that's not very exciting cause most of use what we thought might be offered is not what we are offered. Well none of use came to this institute to work like a cooperate official but the jobs we are provided with are of a cooperate official working in a sporting industry.

College Events

1.5

We didn't have much of a campus life cause we didn't have any campus in the first place. All we had was a cafeteria where we used to meet after classes, a carrom board, a foosball table crammed in that cafeteria. That's about it. It actually rented out an office space to function as our college.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
