Remarks

College management as usually all other managements work for only their benefit and the students benefit is not given with top priority. There is only 1 forum Student affairs committee where a student representative can put some issues in front of college management and there is only 50% chance of it's resolution. My final words for the college is go for this college only if you are interested in studies and you are not interested in any extra curricular activities. You will get average salary package of about 3.5 lakhs if you are B-Tech pass out. My final ratings are 6/10 for this college.

Entrance Preview

I had given UPSEE Exam in 2007 and got 927 rank in general quota.In the counselling I filled only two choices ABES Engineering College IT branch and ABES Engineering College ECE branch. Why I chosen only ABES because two days before I visited ABES Engineering Collge and was excited to see its infrastructure and open space and also the means of transport and readily available for this collge.

Course Curriculum Overview

Couse curriculum is as per UPTU which is 5 subjects per semester and there are 8 semesters.In general we know that focus of UPTU is on quantity rather than that of quality.

Internships Opportunities

R-Systems and Impetus were two major companies that came for Internship purpose and were offering about 4000-6000 INR per month as stipend money. Most of the students do not opt for the companies invited by TPO for internship but used to have their own ways to do internship in different companies outside College influence.

Placement Experience

Different companies such as TCS,Convergys,Tech Mahindra,Satyam Mahindra,R-Systems,Impetus,Xerox,NIIT visited college and on an average the salary offered was 2.6 lakhs with maximum salary offered by TCS was 3.16 lakhs. About 375 students were placed out of 600 strength in B-Tech all branches.

College Events

In the name of College festival college has only 1 annual tech fest namely Genero. Genero is generally three days festival in which we have different competitions such as Treasure hunt,circuit designing,best from waste,tambola and all. There is nothing known as Star night in our college and Tech Fest is just for name sake.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Ample of hostel seats are available in College. College has 3 big Boys Hostel and 2 Girls hostel. Boys hostel are 2 sharing for 2nd to 4th year students while for 1st year students rooms are available in 3 sharing only. Fess food is perfectly fine and only Vegetarian food is allowed in College Mess. Charges of hostel are such as 60,000 per annum for double sharing per head and 49000 per annum for triple sharing per head. Good Wi-Fi connectivity is present free of cost in college as well as Hostel campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

No good scholarships and loans are offered by our college. In the name of scholarship one can only get upto Rs.5000 for getting maximum marks in Electrical Engineering subject and in Mechanical Engineering subject. Per year class topper will also get Books worth Rs 1000 free of cost.

Campus Life

Electronics department is good in Robotics and we had also a show in North Korea with a project named as "UAV" (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) which was praised by Late Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Sir. Gender Ratio is good in college ,for every 100 boys at least 87 girls are available. Generally in our college students from Delhi,UP,Bihar and Uttarakhand will be there so you will not see much diversity in our college. College has good Electrical,Mechanical and Computer Science labs and are well equipped with latest technology gadgets. There is a big play ground present in college premises and football,cricket can be played there. College is not good in extra curricular activities and only one dramatics club is present in college which is also least functional.

Alumni/Alumna

Only in 2012 alumni association was formed and ABES used to celebrate Alumni day on every 25th December where any alumni of the college can come and talk about his/her experience in the college auditorium.I will rate Alumni Network with 3 ratings out of 5.

Faculty

Some faculty such as of Mathematics,Chemistry,Circuit designing are very good but others only knows the bookish language and can only teach you after reading from book. So Faculty is just OK,OK in this college.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Placement Experience:

placements were fine companies that were coming at the college for placements were mostly non tech and tech jobs were very less .Off-campus opportunities were better. i would rate it 2/5 . the companies approaching were also not the best

A honest review about NIET(fees, internship,faculties,placements,and everything you need to know before joining)

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

one of the best things about iiit Lucknow is the senior junior culture senior 8 January approachable and helpful
IIIT Lucknow has developed are reputation for its coding culture competitive programming open source project and hackettrons are deeply immediate
another unique aspect is the gender ratio which is the round one girl for every 2.5 poise compared to take institute is relatively balanced and healthy

Dislikes

compare to other reputed College Lucknow does not have very vibrant fest culture there are fewer culture music
hostel life has its advantages but the dormitories system from 2nd year onward is a big negative for many living with 8 to 12 student
most of faculty members simply come to class 11 lecture and their leave without much interest in melting student or classifying doubts

Placement Experience:

student are eligible for internship from second year and for job placement i think its from 3rd year highest is 1.45crpa avg 33lpa median is 26lpa this year around 201 from 209 get placement to that make around 96 %

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

An average college, it is good if you are from middle lower class family

Our college provides the training that includes DSA , soft skills and verbal & apptitude that the best for students for placements
The first year faculty of our college is very good and experienced having their phds
Our college infrastructure is also not that best but it's s above average, good water and electricity included Ac classroom provided by our college

Dislikes

The faculty of 3rd year isn't experienced they all are new teachers having 1 or 2 years of experience
They call students to come to college at placement time for regular classes due with we can't prepare for our placements
They take exams every months that I really don't like.

Placement Experience:

In our college I think placement are average, the average package is 4 lacks per annum. And the highest package is 34 lacks per annum.in the 2025 batch.There are approx about 60% of ye students get placed and some are left In the last of 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements In our college the company that visit are finsol , commevault, nippons, hcl , juspay,etc.

Companies Visit every semester for placement and training. The student is Eligible for Placement from 4th year ( last year ) . But from 3rd students are eligible for Intership. The placement is very good, Mostly talented students got job easily. The avg package is 6 lpa. And highest is 52 lpa.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
