Entrance Preview

I took UPSEE Entrance Examination and got 44000 rank in OBC. I opt this college because the campus placement and teaching of this college is very good as i had listen from my friends at that time when i take admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

My college is affiliated to the UPTU (Recently change with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University) and all the syllabus and course curriculum is prepared by them. The course syllabus is very precise and to the point, according to me. There are 6 subjects and 3-4 practical in every semester with total 8 semester.

Internships Opportunities

As per my experience, i have selected in two companies ie. Creative Nurons, Gurgaon and Lakshya Technologies Solutions with package of 1.56 LPA and 2.25 LPA respectively. I joined Creative Nurons as i think good. Most of the students are selected with the same or something different packages. Overall my experience is that, if students are the capable then they can grab the opportunity provided by my college.

Placement Experience

In the session of 2014-15, there are more than 60 companies have visited in my college for placement. As i remember, the minimum of 100 students had placed in that years but not more than 3 Lac package. In every year there are more than 5 events are celebrated. All events are well-known & popular and organized with the contribution of students. We have organized science fest, annual fest, sport fest and many others. Celebrities are always come for attending the fest and students enjoy much.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Sorry to say but i am a Day Scholar and visit college on daily basis.But as per the view of my friends and other students, the hostel facilities is natural with 65000/- per year. The food and security is very good but non-veg food is not allowed in the hostel premises. The facilities are worth of the money and students enjoy the hostel very much.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college has facilitated both scholarship / loan facility for students. Many of my friends had availed the loan facility with no hassle. My college is joined with Bank of Maharashtra and all the loan procedure are done with the bank without any problem. My college provides the scholarship through UP Scholarship and I got scholarship two times.

Campus Life

As per my opinion, my college campus life is not so good. There is no facility of wi-fi, playing instruments, no summer camp, no winter camp and extra playing activities. There are many labs like Cloud Computing labs, Mechanical Labs, Electrical Labs, CCP Labs, Electronics Labs, CAD Labs and many others which is required. All labs are well-appointed with modern equipment and contemporary facilities. There is no Ragging in my college and no comment about any religion. Every religion peoples lives happily together. My College always organizes workshops to aware students on different topics but some are paid and some are free of cost.

Hostel Facilities

As per my view, the college management or say only higher authorities are very bad. Never listen to the problems of students and not provide any flexibility for the students. But the Teachers and HoDs are very supportive and always helps the students with their best effort.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

In my college the connectivity of senior and junior students is too worst. Seniors never consults to their juniors and no meeting is organized for meeting senior students.

Exam Structure

All exam structure is preset by the University i.e UPTU (Recently change with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University). Only sessional exams are conducted by the College. There are 3 sessional exams are conducted in each semester. Each subject contain 30 marks. The highest two sessional marks are added in the internals of students.

As we know, all private college have high expensive fee around 1 Lacks rupee. My college has the same fee structure i.e 90000/- per year, which is expensive.

Placement Experience:

placements were fine companies that were coming at the college for placements were mostly non tech and tech jobs were very less .Off-campus opportunities were better. i would rate it 2/5 . the companies approaching were also not the best

All the teachers are highly qualified mostly from IIT and NIT
In the first year the infrastructure is amazing
The teachers are always concerned about the students but their marks Academics and their issues

There is nothing to be disliked everything is going well..

Placement Experience:

The College placements are very awesome like the last year the higher package was 34 lakhs and the average pockets is 5 lakh per annum and 300 + company is a visiting every year and students are getting place in good companies..

I like my course as it is not available in many colleges in India yet. And the labs and practical conducted by our faculty.
Faculty is friendly and helpful when help is needed and college enroll us in important courses
Habit of enrolling us in intership programs from second year online or offline, so we have a habit of it.

Dislikes

Hostel food are terrible some days and the washroom are dirty .
Restrictions to girls in hostel as girls can't roam in the college hostel after 7pm but boys can roam in the college whole night . Also girls have to get output to go outside but boys doesn't need it.
Buildings are all in a small area , looks more like a school than a college and we have no sitting are in the canteen so we have to sit in the class even in the break hours.

Placement Experience:

Placement of NIET is nice with approx 70% students are getting placed also this year until now 4 students are placed with 40lpa . Companies like infosys, Capgemini, GoDaddy and many more visit the college. Our highest package is 53lpa and average is 6 to 7 lakhs with minimum 4 lakhs. Currently my first goal is getting placed in cyber security domain.

Perfect review for a tier 3 college

Likes

The first year faculties are very supportive, in every aspect and terms they help a lot.
They provide equal opportunities in other field as well like games, hackathons, tournaments, etc.

Dislikes

There are very less number of events organised periodically.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards, students are eligible for the campus placements. All the big companies visit our college like microsoft, amazon, google, accenture, ibm, etc. Percentage of students getting placed is 98%. If a student doesn't gets places either he goes to further studies or for startups.

another unique aspect is the gender ratio which is the round one girl for every 2.5 poise compared to take institute is relatively balanced and healthy

Dislikes

compare to other reputed College Lucknow does not have very vibrant fest culture there are fewer culture music
hostel life has its advantages but the dormitories system from 2nd year onward is a big negative for many living with 8 to 12 student
most of faculty members simply come to class 11 lecture and their leave without much interest in melting student or classifying doubts

Placement Experience:

student are eligible for internship from second year and for job placement i think its from 3rd year highest is 1.45crpa avg 33lpa median is 26lpa this year around 201 from 209 get placement to that make around 96 %

College is best for studies and fees affordability, but not for cultural activities.

Likes

The fees of college is very affordable to those students who can't afford the high fees of other college.
The faculties of this college is very supportive and having high academic records i.e. PhD. The faculties have give more efforts to those students who does not have clear basics of their field.
The college provide all labs facilities and Library also, and perform all the activities that give a boost idea to students.

Dislikes

There is striction to leave any classes or go to your own home. Hardly they give leave to students.
The College library opens from 9 am to 4.30 pm and the classes running time is 9 am to 4 pm. If you want to learn in library you won't because the timing is fixed.
There is less cultural activities happens. The one happens that is Rhythm Divine per year.

Placement Experience:

From 7th or 8th semester students are eligible for Campus Placement. IT Companies: Amazon, Cisco, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Genpact, Hexaview, Meditab. Non-IT Companies: TATA Steel, Samsung, Sony India, Coca-cola, IndiaMart, Apollo, Xerox, Organic India, Daffodil, Axis Bank, Piramal Group, Walmart, Siemens. Other Notable Recruiters: Birlasoft, CronJ, Anglo-Eastern, LANCO, GSG. Almost 85 to 90% get placed. My plans should be opt for Mtech.

Companies Visit every semester for placement and training. The student is Eligible for Placement from 4th year ( last year ) . But from 3rd students are eligible for Intership. The placement is very good, Mostly talented students got job easily. The avg package is 6 lpa. And highest is 52 lpa.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
