Remarks
First of all APC RAY POLYTECHNIC is Rank 1 polytechnic of West Bengal and also I discuss with some pass out seniors, they told me this is the best college for Diploma. To admit in this college your JEXPO rank have to be within 1500. If after counselling you have been selected by this college for admission you have to go to college and have to submit documents and fees. This college provide almost 100% placement that's why I preferred this college over others.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have some interest in machine and the Job market of Mechanical Engineering is good now a days that's why I choose this course. The college is in a very good position, beside Jadhavpur University. Total students of the college is almost 1000. In our course in every year have almost 60 students. There are very good class rooms, well maintained lab. Very good library with all type of books. Teachers are very good. They helps students very much. In every semester there are 2 internal exam, 2 external and 1 final exam.
Placement Experience
If you see past years the placement status is very very good. Almost all needy students get job. From 5th sem students are eligible for campus placement. Some companies are Tata steel, Tata Voltas, L&T, Thought Works etc. Highest package is 6 LPA, Lowest is 1 LPA. Almost 70-80% students get placement. My plan is doing a Job
Fees and Financial Aid
Cost is very low. If you are a poor student you can study here. No scholarship is provided by the college.
Campus Life
There are many program among those Freshers and fest is most popular. All types of books available in library. In every year there is a sports program. Our college have students union.
