Satyawati college is one of the best colleges in Delhi university accredited grade A by NAAC. The college has one of the largest auditoriums in Delhi university and its placement cell Saksham is one of the most active cells in the university. If I talk about the bad things is that the classes of college are scheduled according to the school, it is just like, the reason being is the college conducts classes in 2 shift morning and evening. Bcom Hons is one of the toughest courses in Delhi university by the students. The scope of BCom Hons is very wide. You can go into any field. You can also go for CA, SSC, Banks, Railways even the placement cell also provides the jobs. If I talk about the faculty of the college then it is very good. Staff teachers are very polite, they help the students whether it's academic or not. Faculty is also well qualified and if I talk about the number of teachers then most of the staff is in the commerce department. Exams were also conducted timely by the teachers. And if I talk about the difficulty level of the exam then it's up to you, if you studied then it is easy for you, if not then you are not going to crack the exam. Basically, the main motive behind the internal examination is to make the students recall all the syllabus that has been taught in the class during the semester.
There are various internship opportunities within the campus and outside the campus requiring you have to apply for the same.

Shaw came into college and made an offer of 17.5 lacs p.a and the median salary would be around 4.5 lacs p.a. The percentage of students getting places is low due to a high number of students and less of companies. I plan to get placed in a company first and gain knowledge and experience which can help me in future.

The packages depend from course to course an amount of stipend is clearly mentioned on the university website. I am not planning to go for campus placement as I am already pursuing a course which is CA, because of which I am not interested in the campus placement.

The college environment is pretty competitive in nature but it trains you for the future. One could expect the best 3 years of their life if they build a small social group which they can open up to. The 3 years would be much more beneficial if an individual keeps pushing oneself and tries to participate in numerous activities and learn from them.
