Remarks

The students have to be strong, united and firm to make college administration listen to their demands.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are conducted thrice a semester named as T1 for 15 marks, T2 for 25 marks, T3 for 35 marks. Internals worth 25 marks are in the hands of teachers. Also the exam structure is quite fair and transparent. The course involves an annual fest in the month of April, a technical fest in the month of February and freshers is conducted with first month of joining of new batch.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college tries its best to provide internships to third year students as companies come to take prelim test for internship hiring, in sixth semester. Quite a number of companies come for placement, including mass placements. But the main coordinating authority is JIIT, Noida and some companies only consider JIIT students. JUIT also tries to call companies to its campus which consider only JUIT students.

College Events

4

Freshers party is conducted within one month of joining of new batch. English fest such as Jaypee Youth parliament is conducted by the Literary club. Technical fest is conducted in the month of February by technical clubs such as IEEE and ACM. Annual cultural fest is conducted for two days in the month of April by cultural clubs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible but being a private institute it is a bit on the expensive side. Although it is somewhat justified as the hostels as extremely clean and maintained, laundry facility is also provided and the mess food has a lot of variety. The whole campus is very clean and set in the lap of nature boasts of beautiful scenic views.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for any scholarship. I don't think there is any provision for scholarship. Also you can get other scholarships on basis of 12th marks from the government. But JUIT doesn't offer any such scholarship.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is approximately 3 boys per 1 girl. But the requirements of both are taken care of. The hostel timings vary as per seasons it is usually 8.00 pm during summers and 7.00 pm during winters. There are some dhabas adjoining the campus. But being situated down Waknaghat, major eating joints are far away. The campus also has a temple.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I had opted for hostel and I can proudly say it was one of the best decisions of my life. The hostels are extremely clean and hygienic. Twin and single occupancy is available. There is a gym in hostels each for girls and boys. There is also a small shop for basic eating items. There is also a small parlour in girls hostel. Also the hostel rooms are quite spacious and airy.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are the best source of information and best of friends. I personally know and have befriended more seniors than my own batchmates. Seniors take care of juniors just as their responsibilities. The best of times spent in college is with seniors as they share their experiences and help us avoid the same mistakes.

Admission

Admissions are done based on cumulative scores of JEE mains and 12th percentile. Then orientation is done either at JUIT Waknaghat or JIIT, Noida. Some part of the fees needs to be paid at the time of orientation as registration fees for securing your seat. The session usually begins in mid July. The college gives a tour of the college and the surroundings for the first two weeks to freshers.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of college is good and very helping. Some teachers have vast knowledge of their respective subjects and fields, the students can contact them anytime in their cabins and sort their queries, which are attended to with utmost care. Some hard working students can also take help of teachers to publish papers, etc.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the final year. Big companies like Godrej, Tata etc come to the campus for placements, usually around March. Packages can go up to 15 lakh or even 20 lakh rupees depending on the firm and the individual. The placement is really good. There is 100% placement for courses like Biotech and MBA. No placement has occurred yet for Law because no badge has graduated as of now. My plans after graduating are to get a lawyer's job at a big corporate firm in the UK.
