Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was up to date and similar to practical life. Every department has its own library with study materials which are updated time to time with essential syllabus. It also has central library with best collection of study material. The most of the syllabus is related to practical life. It also has practical labs and departments. For example kitchens, hotel rooms sample in hotel management department

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 230000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I was opted as a assistant houskeeper in five star hotel in Hotel JW Marriott Chandigarh. The stipend was ?3500

Placement Experience

The university organise many placement seminars by inviting many MNC in the university. It has takes initiative for the internship of the students during the session of course. Many of the students been offered for job by the company during internship.

The universum fest helds every year in the university which is of 4 days and it includes sports, cultural and technical events. The competitions organises among different departments like bsc, bba, btech so on

Fees and Financial Aid

Student can take loan from any of the bank with the help from finance department of university. It can be for one year or full course chosen by the student. The brilliant students can also avail for scholarships. The education loan is also interest free.

Campus Life

It has a big playground with jogging track, it has a cricket stadium and indoor sports complex. It also has football, basketball and volleyball grounds. The participants have also been provided the sports costumes. University also provides coaches which are national or state level players.

Hostel Facilities

It has 13 hostels which are well built. Every room has attached washrooms. They provide 3 major meals and 2 time tea/coffee. They also provide purified drinking water. It has common rooms to watch television. The stayers can enjoy high speed internet through wifi without any limitations.

I would rate the course curriculum 4 out of 5 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offers a balance of theoretical knowledge as well as the practicality of the system through moot courts, internships, legal research, and case studies. Examinations are conducted twice in each semester mid semester and end semester exams along with internal assessments, viva, presentations and assignments. The difficulty level is moderate

Faculties are helpful, if students needed them they are genuinely help students and clear all the doubts also solve the problems.
management is good and also liked the structure of the university

Dislikes

Sometimes there is many issues in portal app and because of that we survive in our attendance shortage

The teaching method is also good and faculties make sure that students must understand what they are teaching. Also the timing of exams is good according to the question paper. And sometimes it is difficult to complete the exam but it is not short

Likes

I like that my college provides weekly programs and competitions for students
Behavior of teachers with students regarding teaching or any work

Dislikes

Sometimes teacher absent and don't come in class on time
No opportunities for general caste students

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i talk about my couse then i study in bsc (medical) which is a good course, we studies botany, zoology, chemistry, physics also we are nep student so we study more subject. By studying bsc we came to know my real life experiment like knowing about species, real life incidents etc. I suggest my teaching staff that they have to focus more in practical classes not on theory classes because students are more interested in them.

Likes

Good academic section. Excellent professors. Best for research.
Good opportunities for future in many areas including research.
Campus is big, One of largest liberary in Asia. Good for many games.

Dislikes

Hostel are not very clean, hostel is in bad condition, buildings are old.
Only one gym for more than 5000 students.
Not much more college fest and on the name of fest- there is only freshers and farewell party.

Placement Experience:

There is internship after 4th year of college. There is no campus placement for VETERINARY SURGEON student. There is only placements for Dairy technology students. Many companies like Amul, Mother India and other companies gives placement to dairy technology students. Highest package is 104000 per annum. I

Likes

I like the campus life and host life. It’s pretty good as I expected.
Teachers are also good and helpful and supportive
Senior daughter also helpful and is near to city not much far

Dislikes

Hygiene of Hostel is not good. It is dirty
Some smell also come, but it is often not regular
Building is not painted once painted it will be perfect

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I choose bds was more practical learning and more over my interest in this. The teachers teaches us according the curriculum helping us in exams. The frequency of exam is around six months or annually. It depends on the college management system, and how they set the exam and when.

industry focussed curriculum and only relevant things that are required in the industry are taught be it soft skills or tech stack
more practical learning to solve real world problems rather than just classroom learning approach
i also like the crowd of my batch its really very supportive, there is so much to learn from each one of them

Dislikes

sometimes acads become so binding that it prevents us to participate in any other extracurricular or sport activities

Placement Experience:

the placement and internship support here is really great i know many of my friends who bagged internship in their first year itself i myself got an opportunity in my first year to work with a company the faculty and placement team provides full support to students other than this we have a paid internships of six months in the 4th semester for every student and students are being prepared for the same since the very beginning of the course
