Remarks

The main reason for me to choose this college is that it is one of the best colleges in my area and many of my friends have come out of college with high package placements. The admission process here is quite simple because I have come here through counseling so I did not do much for admission. just filled the admission form and paid the fees according to anna university's norms. The blog is used was Collegedunia to get info regarding the college and also got info through my friends and seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

The reason for me choosing an MBA was to gain managerial skills and I think it is up to mark for it. Faculties in our college are all well experienced in their perspective fields and have a great teaching experience. The facilities tend to help us a lot in all aspects and guide us through the program. The exams are as per anna university norms and apart from that, we have three CIA and a model exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The department offers many internship programs and helps students to complete its successfully due to covid we cannot attend internships physically but we were provided online internship facilities which were very comfortable for the students. The MBA course has a main project in the final semester for which staff will be of great help and perfect guidance will be provided by them.

Placement Experience

Placement in vel tech high tech engineering college is what makes it a reputed college in Tamilnadu. it has excellent placement with almost 80 percent of students getting placed. The highest package in MBA is 10 lac CTC from byjus. Thr the minimum package starts from 3 CTC per annum. The companies visiting our college are all good and reputed companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The usual fee of the college is 45000 but for those who are from counseling, it costs 35000, Apart from that there are bus facilities available but fees differ according to the Stop. Talking about scholarships they provide a lot of schemes as well as bank loans for students to continue their studies.

Campus Life

Apart from studies, there are a lot of activities in the department, we get many workshops, seminars, events, industrial visits. There is also a club activity conducted every weekend for the students to develop their skills and knowledge. We get to conduct cultures every year with a Full bang. The books are easily available in the library and many other facilities are also available in the library. The classrooms are quite comfortable but not up to the mark yet you'll get to enjoy a lot for sure.

Interview Experience

I got admission through TANCET which is an entrance exam for MBA. the questions asked in TANCET were related to logic reasoning, qualitative and quantitative analysis, aptitude, verbal reasoning, and many others. The exam is based on negative marking so must be careful about it. There are many online portals and books to prepare for TANCET but unfortunately, I did not use any of them yet got admitted to a good and reputed college.

I liked so many club events which is happening once for each and every year
I love to play some management games based on the management studies
I liked to attend many club activities which was conducted by our academic clubs

Dislikes

Most of the time, they were exposing unnecessary fine
Due to some issues for the student, they will expose the fine immediately
suddenly so many kinds of irrelevant penalties were exposed

Course Curriculum Overview:

the areas for the improvements that in the course curriculum and teaching methods are give some PDFs, PPTs, and as well as some google links based on the anna university syllabus. Especially, the timing level should be change. because, in the CIA examinations, there are totally 1:30 hours only allocated to write for totally 50 marks. So, the management wants to extend the time for minimum half an hour i.e., totally 2 hours.

the college has knowledgeable and supportive faculty a friendly campus environment good learning facilities and opportunities to participate in events and build friendships the curriculum provides a strong theoretical foundation.
campus life is enjoyable and students generally interact well with each other the girls to boys ration is approximately depending on the course and batch overall the college offers a good learning environment with scope for improvement.

Dislikes

the college needs to improve its laboratory facilities and provide more pratical sessions workshops and hands on learning opportunities to help students gain industry relevant skills.

Placement Experience:

the college provides placement opportunities for eligible students generally starting from the sixth or seventh semester depending on the course and company requirement companies from different sectors visit the campus to recruit students for roles such as trainee software developer analyst and other entry level positions the number of companies visiting offers made and salary packages varies each years.

Placements at GSBM are decent ,with student generally becoming eligible from the last semesters . Companies from sales ,marketing, finance ,HR and business devolpment sectors visit the campus .Placement opportunity and packages vary by company and student performance ,with average packages being reasonable for MBA freshers .A good percentage of students recevie placements opportunity, while stuends can also explore of -campus options .After completing my MBA ,plan to start my career in a management_related role and build my proffessional experience.

Faculty member are knowledgeable approachable and supportive they explain concepts clearly using practical case studies and presentation.
The campus environment is friendly and students get good opportunities to interact through group project seminars events and extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities for MBA students at my college are reasonably good. students generally become eligible for campus placement from the 3rd ssemestse3r, after completing most of their core subjects. the placement cell starts preparing studnets through aptitude tests, resume building sessions, group discussions mock interviews and pre placement training.

The placement opportunities for my program are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the third semester preparation and internship opportunities started yearly. The placemet cell various activity such as apptitude test, resume building session, group discussion, mock interview, prepare placemnt training to help students prepare for the requriements. The placement cell offers reasonable support throughout recruitment process.
