Remarks

I will rate my college to 7 in a scale of 10 as there are things where the management need to improve and think more about a student career and how to make it better by the teaching and a students learning perspective.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE (now known as IIT JEE). Entrance examination structure has changed a little bit in last few years and it can be understood under the entrance exam a student is going through.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is like 7 out of 10. This can be improved by college as they were concentrating hard when we passed out from college. So in all college need to thing about the courses they are engaging students with and think of to add some good courses as per the semester wise. One positive thing about the course structure is that they have a good part in robotics and they are providing good hands in improving it more.

Internships Opportunities

No, that's a part where jaypee lack with it. There is not internship being provided by jaypee and students have to make effort to reach out to companies or internship programs externally. Jaypee should engage with some internship partners and start a internship programs itself.

Placement Experience

1.5

Job placements are really good here. Jaypee has a record of 100% placement in last few years. You may not see package on the higher side but they will push you in with the companies and will try to give you an average package as per industry standards.

College Events

4.5

Technical and cultural festivals are being hold in jaypee in all the four campus around India. It includes all the activities like gaming, outdoor games events, music, singing, dancing etc in cultural side and robotics, exhibitions etc on technical side.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is being changed every year but as per the latest fee structure it is around 1.3lacs for tuition plus development fees. One thing that makes it expensive is the development fee which is of no use but it is still fine as per comparison to the other private colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship was not there when we were pursuing our B. Tech but we recently heard of it by the junior students and it is shared by external programs which was something related to UP students but not all. I am not aware of the full criteria but it was something related to the earning of the parent and scholarship was from the government side which makes it good.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was good as there is no things like ragging, sequel harassment, intolerance or inequality on the basis of gender, race, ethnicity or religion. Staff and senior are very supporting and the gender ratio was good as well. Only issue was that there was a bit of politics because of the youth club or heads who were running the events and fest which was devolved later on as it was not good on the student level.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I haven't stayed in the hotel in my B. Tech journey but have visited hotel once or twice. Hostel fee are divided as per the sharing of the room and single room and facilities are shared by all. Going on towards the PG's near college, they are okay and affordable.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were very supporting and they led us to the college word and they thought us how to deal with it. They helped us in each and every new thing came to us with an open heart and welcomed us to the college. They were strongly in favor of programs where ragging should not be supported and we should not feel dishearted while staying away from home.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is okay and they take small assessments in between the semester followed by the semester final exams. It holds practical knowledge in some subjects and they take exams for that as well. The one thing good in 3rd and fourth year is that they will engage you in projects and will try to make their students learn practically.

Admission

First we need to fill a separate form for Jaypee through that they will call eligible students on the basis of their rank. After that there are college procedures like counseling and registration by going to the campus and depending upon the call letter.

Faculty

3

Faculty is okay but again management are improving it. On a scale of 10 I will rate it 7 again. We have seen that some faculty do have good knowledge but they are not able to express that knowledge to the students which makes students to effort more on such subjects. But on the positive side we really had good computer science faculty for some subjects.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
