Remarks

It'd be great if the persons in the administrative block treat students good. They can avoid being harsh. It'd also be great if different students from various branches are allowed to do the project.

Entrance Preview

EAMCET: state: 4238, AIEEE: AIR 26519 I accepted admission is sastra because it has a nice infrastructure and experienced faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was fine. Every semester we had lab sessions. And professors were supportive in the projects that we undertook and encouraged us in publishing the papers in famous journals like IEEE and elseviar. Lab infra was very good. International collaborations were made with reputed universities like Harvard fand students were given a chance who liked to pursue their career in research.

Placement Experience

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tuition fee : 40000 per sem, hostel fee : 10000 per year, mess fee : 3000 per month, exam fee : around 1600 per sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are provided by CUB and scholarships are provided to first three branch toppers.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio : depends. In Mechanical you only see beards and mustaches where as in Biotech they are scarce and rest of them have 50-50 ratio Cultural organizations : there are literary clubs for Telugu, Hindi, English, Tamil, Malayalam tolerance: rules are not very strict. But there's attendance at the hostels for girls at 6-30 PM and for boys at 8-30 sexual orientation: seriously?? Everyone I knew are straight.

Alumni/Alumna

They were very helpful, guided me in my placements and motivated when I'm at my lowest. It has helped me to try my best and leave the rest.

Exam Structure

Three out of five days were hectic with lab sessions. We used to have at least 3 internal lab exams through out the semester. They used to give a problem statement or an experiment and we had to make observations and calculations.

Admission

Got to know about sastra on a lot of research from friends, family and internet. Downloaded the application form and I applied based on my All India AIEEE rank. I got a slot in third counseling. Two hours before the counseling started we were explained the process by the administration there. I finally got a seat in Electrical and electronics at the end of the day

Faculty

3.5

Almost everyone there has a PhD in the courses that they are teaching there. Some of them have numerous papers published in reputed journals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
