The college is very very good one can enjoy and learn many thing but some negative things like placement for MBA is not as good as for engineering life is very good there.

Course Curriculum Overview
The course is good but the focus more of theoretical aspect rather then practical you have to take your own initiative if you want to do something new and convenience the department once they are convinced the will stand behind you to give there full support.

Yes our college provide internship maximum internship are without stipend and mostly are in the region of dhanbad ranchi and kolkata you can also arranger your own internship.
Placement Experience
Their is a problem with placement like being an IIT we cannot expect the placement will be as good as for engineers but if overall good like almost sixty to 70 percent people are placed with an average package of 4.5 lakh if some public sectors comes then placement goes to very high.
College Events
There are mainly three big events in the college first is concerto it is the national level technical and management festival second is parakram it is national level sports and athletic festival comprises off all track and field events indore games as well as outdoor group events and team games.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The is increased every year by fifty percent when i joined the college my total expense of the course was two lakh sixteen thousand but it is almost double from from next batches bank loan are easily available and we can only submit fees per semester there is no option of giving a lump sum fees.

The college itself provide scholarship to the students whose family income is less than 150000 the top ten student from each batch every semester for the group of the student who had applied for the internship.

All the facility in this college is world class,you can get some best crowed of the india almost 45 percent of total student are female the robotics lab the gym the library every thing is world class it has asia's biggest institutional library you can enjoy every time pass so fast in IIT dhanbad.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility was ok when we took admission because the rooms provided to us was single room and they were accommodating 2 people in that single room now the number of hostels had increased. so it might have become better the food is good and quite affordably they charged thirty thousand each year for hostel and together and refunded eleven thousand each year.
Alumni/Alumna
It have one of the most strong alumni network college celebrate every year a festival for alumnus that is basant in the month of February and all alumni come from round the world to visit it.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is not so hectic and you can have over all development of your self if you want there is two exam in one semester that is mid semester and end semester and final result are is followed by a class presentation and assignment.
Admission
I applied for the institute after writing CAT, the a final list of shortlisted candidate were announced for group discussion followed by personal interview the group discussion and personal interview held on same day at the institute itself finally almost a month later the final list of the selected and waiting list candidate were published with the date of admission.
Faculty
The faculty are highly qualified every one is Ph.D holder from some off the most reputed institute of world and india they are very supportive when comes to academics they want you to come up with new ideas if you want to learn some thing more and once you go to faculty the will provide with immense material.
