Remarks

I am reading in this university because my brothers and some of my friends are reading in this university that's why i will take admission in this university in cs branch. And in this university placement rate is goood in cs branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here teachers are so good. They have many qualifications. I am a 3rd year CSE student. Our seniors are very helpful. We have a separate department for CSE. Here all the classes and labs related to our branch are present. All places are very clean.Yes our curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments in the field. So nice infrastructure of our college. We have all things which are required to be in a general college or in a university.

Course Fees: INR 354400 per year

Placement Experience

We get a very good placement here. Our seniors get a very nice package. Last year the highest package was 20 lakhs. That's a nice package. And also the average salary package is more than 3 lakhs per annum. The most placements in our college are from software side. Placement process is easy. Our complete department as well as our college supports us.

College Events

Very big college. It has many societies. It provides us a lot of facilities. Students can engage them in various activities like joining clubs, sports etc. In this matter our seniors are very helpful. They provide us the demo of their own clubs and societies and we can join any one of them as per our interest. Its totally free. It handles emergencies too.

I like the infrastructure of the university it has a great campus and so many shops there stationary and canteens available here.
I like the security of the Chandigarh university is so good guards and the cctv cameras are all around the campus
I like the quality of study and the knowledge the faculty provide us during the lectures and practicals

Dislikes

I dont like the attendance criteria in this university.
In some of the subjects we have to maintain 90% attendance and that is difficult for the most of students
I dont like the number of lectures in per week in this course like i have 26 lectures per week in my course

Placement Experience:

Placements here in this college are really good. Before the placements they give us all the information about the rounds in placements in the form of seminars and also there are mock tests for the placements and the interview trainings before the placement drives and the AMCAT exam which is for the placements.

Likes

Infrastructure, facilities, faculty, environment.
The heavy security we have in our college.
Being a girl we need to more safe, so the hostel students have to go back into the hostel before 7 pm

Dislikes

The thing I really don’t like is attendance problem
We need to maintain the attendance above 75%
If we don’t have 75 or above we will get detained and need to pay extra to give exam

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible from the second semester to do internships, locally or given by the university. These time we need to do the internship of our choice means locally. The highest package is of a ₹1L till now. 80-90% students are getting placed across the courses.
