Remarks

I foremost chose R.M.D engineering college because of the good placement offers. The staffs are really very knowledgeable and experienced. The college has a lush and a green atmosphere and is definitely a perfect place to learn. The college also encourages students to take part in many different competitions and contests. Another important thing is that we do not have to worry about the transport as the college management itself offers transport to far other places too. They also provide breakfast, lunch and snacks. The lab facilities are good and there are a lot of new opportunities to excel in your field of expertise. Thus the college is indeed a perfect place to learn and graduate.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is entirely Anna University based. The college focuses a lot on academics and has produced top most results many times. The other facilities are also very good and the atmosphere is spick and spam.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are really good. A lot of top IT companies like HCl,TCS,CTS etc visit the college for placement. I am not very much sure about the placement process as I am in the intermediate year now. The alumni networking is also good and they arrange a lot a classes in which alumnis share their experience. Many alumnis are working in the notable IT companies and one is also working in Google ( I am not sure of his name)

College Events

The college doesn't give very much importance to extra curricular activities but we do have Culturals and Symposium once a year. The Symposium is quite a huge event and the students get enthusiastic to participate in it. Students are also trained to take part in the Zonal sports competition. I feel indeed very proud to be one among them and we won the Winner Cup the basketball game.

Campus Life

There are separate blocks for each department. The campus is filled with a lot of lush trees and there is greenery everywhere. The college definitely has a beautiful infrastructure. The library is huge and there are a lot of books available for each and every department. The college has free wifi but however students are not supposed to take mobile phones to college, thus we can't use it. However we can use wifi in the computer labs. The labs are fully equipped with needed apparatus.

The college provides 100% placement opportunities to all the students. We receive information about job openings, recruitment drives, aptitude tests, interviews, and other selection processes through the placement cell. The salary package is also good which is provided based on the company profile The placement cell supports students in various placement opportunities making all the students get placed while completing the degree After completing my degree, my plan is to start my career in a suitable role related to Human Resources or Finance, gain practical industry experience, and gradually develop my professional skills

There is no entrance for this college.I am from andhra so there is no entrance exam they take from 12th marks. And the eligibility of the course is 60%per in 12th. From the application form we have to visit the college,there is no application fees and the admission dates will be announced in the college website. Acoording to the cast there is a reservation benefits for tamilnadu people. There are 8 semisters through out the course and for every sem there are 2mid exams and 1model exam and the semester exam. The duration of each exam is 3hrs. And the difficulty level is moderate. The admission fee are very different for every student so there should be a fixed amount....Read More

I have applied in SSN Engineering college but the college fees were more and so I didn't join in that college. so I have joined in RMD Engineering College. I have availed through Government Quota. The selection process for the college is online but the verification process is online. They verify all the certificates such as Transfer Certificate, Marksheets and all .
