Remarks
DAVV is the only "A+" grade university accredited by NAAC in the Madhya Pradesh. Green & Clean university with good infrastructure and also providing hostel facility. But you don't get any bus facility at the university. There is a canteen in the campus with somewhat ok taste. The overall university is nice & academically much well in comparison to other state universities. You can get admission in your respective fields by cracking the DAVV - CET exam, which usually held in June month. You can also access the DAVV official website to get current knowledge about entrance-exams & events.
Course Curriculum Overview
I personally believe that Law is not only about statues, rules and regulations but it also helps me in improving my language, skills and logical & critical thinking. School of law, DAVV provides UG, PG, M.Phil & PhD Course in Law. Specifically, for UG there is only one course i.e Five Year integrated B.A.LL.B (Hons.) for maximum strength of 60 students in a batch & for PG. They provide 2 Year LL.M course in two fields i.e Constitutional Laws and Business Laws. In the SOL, we taught by both permanent and temporary faculties & for each subject there is a specific professor. For practical courtroom teaching, SOL has a moot court which really helps in getting real courtroom experience & also having law books library along with subscription of many useful Court Judgement sites is the icing on the cake. During a Semester, there are 3 Internals out of which 2 best are assessed & one final Semester exam. Question papers are based on both practical and theoretical approach questions.
Placement Experience
As such, there is no direct placement from the college. There are various fields you can plan after degree such as Court litigation, Judge, Corporate litigation, legal advisor & also you can apply for civil services.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Structure for the single semester is around 22000/-. For economically backward students there is scholarship facility also (Especially, for ST/SC & OBCs). Opportunity for direct placement from the institution is less.
Campus Life
Every year there are 3 days Annual fest which includes various activities such as Sports, dance, drama, treasure hunt etc. There is a law library in the SOL-DAVV only for department students and also there is a huge library in the university for all students.
Interview Experience
For admission, you have to crack DAVV-CET exam and after that, you will be eligible for counselling & where you can choose the B.A.LL.B as a career field and ultimately you got through School of law, DAVV.
